Very easy to use, popcorn in just a few minutes. Just pour in popcorn and flip the switch. Popcorn comes out easily and taste amazing.

At 1400 watts this little popper gives surprising results! Small & compact doesn't take up a lot of space. Cooks up a storm! Buy it. It works GREAT and does'nt cost a lot of money. 1400 watts of cooking power results in fast cooking and very few unpopped kernels. Love It !

I ordered the DASH Hot Air Popcorn Popper Maker with Measuring Cup in white. I only ordered it because it was the best price I could find, however, the negative comments are definitely correct. The positives besides the decent cost is that it's effortless for prep. You have to be careful when you put the plastic top on, because I could see how easy it would be to break some of the tabs. There is a butter container if you want to melt that which I will not test because the reason I ordered this was for a healthy snack so I don't want butter. You just plug it in, put in your kernels, and press the power button and wait a few minutes. It does make popcorn fairly quickly, and this thing is quite loud. I used to have an air popper, and I don't remember that one being very loud. Some of my animals do not like this thing at all. It gets the job done but there are several negatives. This thing is crazy and has a mind of its own. This thing can shoot out alot of unpopped kernels. I have to try and gather them so I can put them back in, but they are hot and burn your fingers. Then some other unpopped kernels will come out as it pops and then a dump of them at the end. Then it seems sometimes this thing just goes completely crazy at the end and starts shooting them all over the kitchen. Then you think it's done and some more will blow up right in your face. It's absolute chaos, but it doesn't happen every time it seems. The animals think it's fabulous when a bunch of stuff falls on the floor, but I have a dog with allergies so he can't be out when this thing is on. It's also hard to find unpopped kernels that fly on the floor. However, because a lot of the good quality ones are so much more expensive, you just get what you pay for and I think it would be unreasonable to expect too much from this unit. I use this everyday and several times a day, and it does get the job done. But if I'm going to keep up this daily habit, I might need a higher quality one because this is too much extra work when I care about the unpopped kernels and grand finale kernel shootout at the end. You'll have to pick your poison to either pay alot more money for a popper that has more maturity or pay much less and deal with chaos.

Our popcorn popper took a swan dive and no longer worked. That is a weekly treat at our house on movie night. Okay. We have it more than that with lots of butter. Guilty as charged. Be that as it may, was on the hunt for a new one and pronto. This pops up (excuse the pun) and matches our retro look toaster color! Had to have it and don't regret it. Pops the corn with just a kernel or two left not popped. We use a higher grade popcorn (don't make the mistake of going cheap on any of these air poppers) and like the white. Not over popped either where the popper doesn't release the popcorn and it has a dried out feel and taste to it. Highly recommend

I wasn’t expecting much from this popper. I figured it would be like popping popcorn in the microwave. But everything came out perfectly. Nothing was burnt and it took just a few seconds. You still need to be aware of popcorn kernels flying out in random directions, but the Shield does point down more than some of the other models I have seen. Perfect for classroom popping

We love popcorn and wanted the seven year old to see the process of making kernels pop into popcorn. He sat behind me, amazed at the first few pops of popcorn exiting the machine. Within 2 minutes, hot kennels were flying well beyond our large metal mixing bowl! It’s a beautiful machine, though not very effective with pooping kennels into popcorn.

I looked up corn poppers in CR, the consumer rating magazine. They recommended this one. I liked that it has an on/off button that some others don't have. I used the measure to spill half a load of Orville's best in it and also put some butter in the same measure on the top. It started whirring and before long got to popping. One or two kernels did blow out while I waited, but I held my hand up outside the opening and they just bounced back in where they belonged. The popped corn came out into a bowl (use a big one) and all the kernels but maybe three or four were popped. But the butter had barely started to melt by this point. So I let it run and after about double the time it took to fill the bowl, the butter melted and the four kernels finally did pop. But I'm not sure it was a good idea to let the popper keep generating hot air that long. From now on I'll forget the butter and use liquid butter substitute instead. And just toss out any kernels that resist popping. It stores on its side in a drawer with the clear plastic lid next to it. I gave it five stars for "flavor" even though I'm not sure how much the popper impacts flavor. But the CR review did say the flavor of what came out of this machine was better than corn from the others they tested, so maybe it does matter. Be sure to use a fresh brand-name corn like Orville R's. He worked hard to get it right.

This is very cool, it make the popcorns ready in 2 mins. Good thing no Oil needed just hot air. Smells great when the popcorns are ready.
