These are good wheels...wish they had a .040 or .035 available but I can get those in regular al-ox from Falcon as needed. The ceramic blend in these XP wheels does actually do better and runs slightly cooler if you're cutting stainless or hardened tool steels, as long as you also do your job right. For ordinary steels and materials you won't really see better performance or life compared to good regular wheels. I'm not a fan of DeWalt accessories and tools anymore, generally, since they have cheapened up so much and moved to China for a huge chunk of their offerings, but these German-made wheels are excellent and I like this one a bit better than the Freud/Diablo, Norton (also excellent), and Pearl that I most often use. Makita has excellent wheels as well when you can find them. If you ever find or get to try one of the .035 Falcon wheels those will knock your socks off but they're a little pricey and hard to find outside of larger packs.
