I followed the directions for pairing, and connected to my phone in about 15 seconds or less. I've been using it outdoors while chopping wood, and the volume is not too loud to worry about blowing out the tiny speaker, and not so quiet that I'd have to switch back to headphones. If I had to guess, I'd say the volume is about 1.5 times that of my phone or maybe double. I had been taking a much larger and expensive blue tooth speaker outside and worrying about it getting wet or lost. This is a simpler and even more convenient alternative since it clips right onto my belt. I'm not worried about bothering the neighbors. A very nice, small speaker with just enough power for my own use. And I've been charging it with USB-C which are the norm for most phones and electronics, so I don't have to worry about getting or finding the right cord (though one came with it, but since its the same, I just use what I already have.) Charges fast. Its very lightweight, doesn't weight down my belt or jeans pocket. The clip seems nice and durable. I like the bright yellow as well, stands out when in the woods or outdoors unlike some black which gets lost in dirt or rocks. Very simple, powered just right... very good product for the price. I'll probably buy this again for a gift for someone in my family.

Perfect for work, walks and around the house. The battery is incredible. It lasts forever. Has literally been dropped off of a roof multiple times. Works great. Only down side is the led light. It is super super bright and blinks constantly to tell you it battery status. A small piece of electrical tape solved this.

I love this thing. I'm in construction so my surroundings can get pretty loud with saws, drills, trucks...etc. I just hang it on my pocket or tool belt and I hear the music loud and clear. Calls are ok but not great. If the speaker is close to my face it's definitely similar to having your phone on speaker talking. If it's on my belt or pocket, you kind of have to talk louder for the other person to hear you. They do sound pretty clear though. Either way, the main reason I bought this was to have music playing and the Bluetooth not cut out when I walk away from my radio which this goes everywhere you do so for that purpose, it's perfect. This is also about $30 cheaper on Amazon the at the depot so theres that. Also, the battery life is great. I'll get a whole day of work or fishing on the kayak with it no problem. It also tells you battery life when you turn it on. Not % but it'll say "battery high" "battery medium"...etc which is definitely convenient. It also charges super fast. I haven't timed it but it's shut off on me from dying and an hour or so later it's green and saying high again. For what it is, it's great and it is water resistant/proof also. I have a lot of DeWalt stuff and I've always been satisfied, this speaker is no different.

This is exactly as described, small, strong, loud and 8ish hours of battery. Perfect for my carpenter bags. Perfect for work or play, plowing snow, fishing, biking, or just hanging out. Very light weight and strong clip. Only wish for a larger battery for two days of use before charging. Absolutely would accept the larger size to accommodate.
