I own several businesses, I have 5 kids, 2 dogs my wife is almost bed ridden, I coach softball and Tball. I like a neat home but obviously my schedule is extremely hectic. As I type this review my X50 is running its initial deep clean cycle. I could not be more impressed with all the features and phenomenal suction power. I initially had a cheap Walmart shark model that just bumped off the walls. It helped a little throughout the week. But this X50 is unbelievable. The first floor of my home is extemely large and takes me forever to sweep and mop. I can see where this vacuum is going to help me so much. I can’t recommend it more!

This has changed my life quality by vacuuming & mopping anytime I need it! We’re having a baby soon and it would be really helpful by saving our time and energy from cleaning. It does mopping pretty good but it would not be completely get rid of some grease or oily stuff. It’s perfect for regular cleanup!

Edit 2/1 : still no update to object avoidance but support has been very communicative. They insist the software team is close to issuing a patch and have also had me submit video and technical details from my machine to help. This robot vacuum has potential but is in serious need of software updates to improve its navigation and cleaning systems. Compared to other robots in the same price range, it doesn’t perform as well. The vacuum is overly focused on trying to climb anything over half an inch, rather than avoiding it. If you have small objects like cat toys or even a sock on the floor, it will attempt to climb them, get stuck, and require intervention. It doesn't mark these items as obstacles, so it will keep coming back to try again. I had an issue with it running over my cat’s food bowls because it tried to climb them—other models from Dreame would detect and avoid them. These issues could likely be fixed with a software update, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it with the hope that they’ll resolve it soon. I’d suggest waiting until those updates are rolled out. That said, it does clean decently. It struggles with fine particles, likely because it uses two brushes, but it handles larger debris well. I do like the app’s features, especially the ability to run the vacuum and then mop without tracking particles. The vacuum runs quietly, and the auto detergent dispenser for mopping works well, leaving floors streak-free, unlike some other models that only use water.

Absolutely love this! Had been researching different Robo vacs for awhile, but was hesitant to make the switch since previously have only had a corded stick vacuum. I have two toddlers and honestly keeping up with the main living area floors (kitchen, living room) was becoming very time consuming due to how much food and crumbs are dropped there daily. I’ve been using this for a month now to get a good feel for the app and how to work it. The home for the vac itself is a decent size due to housing the clean and dirty water container for the mops. Other models without a mop function are smaller, so if this is something that you’ll have out in the open you may want to take the size into consideration. If storing away in a closet it’s not as noticeable but you will have to open the door each time you turn this on. I found the app straight forward and easy to use. You can set a schedule, select certain rooms, turn on manually, etc. You’re able to choose how much suction you want from the vacuum, whether you want it to return home to drop the mop pads off before doing a carpet or rug, which room order to do, etc .So many functions and options. Only real con is for those who live in multi level homes. We have a two story so this can only really do one floor. You’d need a second one for keeping a schedule on an additional floor. The app has notifications that let you know to clean the sensors, check the rollers, and more. Has smart functions that will maneuver around objects left out. Only had it get stuck once when my husband left cords on the floor. I’d run this at night (we’re on second floor this is on first floor) so honestly noise from it running wasn’t an issue. I did hear it occasionally if it was right under our room but it wasn’t anything annoying or too loud. Haven’t had to empty dust bag yet but did check it and was happy with how much it collects. Doesn’t get into 90degree right corners (this like under cabinets in the corner of baseboards) but gets along the boards and does a great job and going back and forth in a zig zag to cover the entire floor surface. Maneuvered easily over wood floor, rugs, and a carpeted room. Super happy with this and its performance. Has been making the upkeep of the downstairs much more manageable. Price point is high, maybe in the future will be able to get one for upstairs as well.

Product is great overall, but the battery life is awful compared to previous models. There 220 minute battery life is an outright lie. It’s about 1% for every one minute in its lowest vacuuming power. This isn’t just my unit, it’s being mentioned a lot. Please do a google search if you don’t trust me. I will update this review if they implement a firmware update.
