It's small, it works and it pulls the moisture out of the bathroom quickly and constantly. Only drawback, it's kinda noisy

This unit is small and can easily be placed in a room without being obtrusive. The write up about the unit says it uses about 40 watts of electricity, so there will be a slight cost when in use. It does generate a tiny bit of heat. The fan has one speed and the closest comparison I can think of regarding the noise level would be the cooling fan on a laptop when it's running at close to full speed. It's not unpleasant and reminds me a bit of the white noise machines, so we have quickly gotten used to it. The lighting effects can easily be turned off, but they automatically turn on anytime you turn the unit back on, so two taps of the light button and they go back off. This small unit will not perform like a full size, floor model, dehumidifier. (some negative reviewers seem to think it should have performed in a comparable fashion) Those full size, floor units use an air conditioner type system so they dehumidify the air very quickly, but are very large and much, much louder and expensive. We had one in our full size home for years and you could literally see the humidity level begin to drop on a hygrometer within 30 minutes or so. This unit will not perform to that level due to it's small size and the mechanism used to remove moisture. We've had it over a week now and over a 24 hour period it removes about 3/4 of a cup of water from the air. Of course, the humidity level and temperature will dictate any increase or decrease in the numbers we saw. This unit is meant for small spaces of less than 250 sq feet. We have it in a bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. But since we leave the bedroom door open and have central air, that means it essentially is dealing with the whole apartment of about 900 sq feet. Don't expect to feel a marked difference in the humidity level in a large space. I would imagine in an appropriately small space, with doors closed and no central air, this unit would make the area feel dryer. Our issue is condensation build up on our single pane windows in the winter. Even just removing 3/4 cup of water per day means that there will be that much less water in the air to condense on the windows. We've now decided to purchase an additional unit to place in the second bedroom at the opposite end of the apartment from where the first one is placed. Our hope is between the two units we will see a marked difference in our humidity levels. Two of these units are much cheaper and quieter than a full size, floor model. I can recommend this unit if you purchase it with the understanding of it's limitations. UPDATE: We purchased an additional unit for our 900 square foot apartment. The two bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the apartment and we placed one of these dehumidifiers in each room. They both have been pulling about 3/4 of a cup of water out of the air every 24 hours, with inside temperature at 72 and initial relative humidity at about 64 percent. So with the two units we are eliminating about 1 !/2 cups per 24 hours. We might see a drop in the hygrometer reading to 59 or 60 percent occasionally in that time. Not comparable to a big floor dehumidifier, but much cheaper and quieter. While they have not eliminated the condensation issue, I think it has helped to reduce the overall amount of water condensing on our windows during the winter.

Love this little guy! Fairly quiet, pulls a lot of water. This really helped reduce the moisture accumulating near my front windows.

This thing does what it's advertised to do, and actually cools the air slightly as well really it's almost like a miniature air conditioner. The effectiveness of this seems comparable to those DampRid packs that you hang up in the closet. I use these in my bathrooms to keep things nice and dry in there. The stock fan is slightly noisy to me as it runs full blast at 2500rpm constantly. It is a standard 92mm 5V fan so if you are handy with a soldering iron like me, you can replace it with a FD bearing fan of a similar speed and still get comparable performance but in silence.

These little machines are a blessing! They use quite a bit of power, so I try to only run them for half the day. But when they're working, they're WORKING. In just 12 hours I collected about a half inch of water from my closet. They're small, efficient, and quiet. Absolutely love mine!

I shower in a bathroom without a window. There is a fan but it does not seem powerful enough. I had researched getting another fan but the more powerful ones are bigger than the one I have which would require someone handy (not me, not my husband) to install. Instead I use the Dehumidifier,TABYIK 35 OZ Small Dehumidifier. I make sure the bathroom door is closed and let it work. Much less expensive than a new fan and cost of installation. I am happy with the purchase.

Very colorful, lights up, don't put in a place where you will see it, small amount of noise, more like a constant humming. Definitely helps with the air. It has even caught some gnats. I water my plants with it. Stays pretty clean.

I use this in my home office. I have just replaced my original one bought 5 years ago and it has worked tirelessly 24x7 over humid summers and all other seasons. I particularly like that it is powered by 12v dc via a transformer vs a 120v power plug directly. It fills and auto turns off. The rotating colours are a nice touch, but optional. Noise level is low. I bought my original one for $80 or so, and after 5 years, the return on investment is great. The original one died, but I didn’t really clean it either, so great innings for a 24x7x5 years constant use. Easy to empty and something I trust running happily and with a small size in the corner. I rarely do recommendations, but figure this little model deserves a shout out. In summer, it fills 1/2 per day, and in winter fills fully in about 2 weeks. Just the right thing to take the edge off of moisture build up which was leading to mold, driven by the cold basement walls in one area.
