I purchased this hair chalk for my 6 yo niece’s birthday. She is obsessed with it - always asking me if I can put a little chalk her hair. The colors are very vibrant on her dirty blonde hair. They are easy to use - but your hand will get a little messy - and they wash right out in the shower. The only warning is that they may irritate skin; she has very sensitive skin and when she washed it off the first time, she let it wash out over her face. And then she had some minor skin irritation. So now we just make sure to push her head back and wash her hair away from her face and we’ve not had that problem again!

Bought these for my daughter with medium/dark brown hair and you can BARELY see two of the colors. The rest of the colors don’t show up even a little bit. We tried them all and followed the directions exactly too. I already assumed the colors wouldn’t be super bright with her hair color and didn’t expect them to be extremely vibrant like the photos, but this was a big time bummer. Cannot recommend to anyone with brown (or darker) hair.
