I don’t know why they haven’t come up with an alternate name for these because they are far from the old kind of paper plates we used to use. These have a coating on them that make them stronger. Also the sizee of 10 1/4” is a good size and not easy to find. I buy these anytime I see them pop up in my reminder spot but especially if I see them on sale. They are a good deal from how many you’’re getting in a package and I usually buy 4 at a time. Even though it’s only my husband and myself we easily uses 2 or 3 a day each. It cuts down on our having to do dishes. A chore that now that we are in our 60’s and 70’s has made us fall into a routine of less is more. These aren’t any heavier than holding a paper plates yet it holds much more and doesn’t spill or break under the pressure of a full plate whether its cold or hot food. They are microwavvable, heat resistant and come in nice designs and colors.

They are a great sturdy product and a good value. They can hold a good portion of food. I even use them in the microwave and they don’t get warped and hold its shape. The plates are even decorated with a design and very nice.

My kids hate their foods touching. These are larger plates, making it easier to have all the foods spread out. They're also really sturdy. Great plates!

Dixie paper plates have always been the best in my opinion. They are sturdy enough for a child to carry from the BBQ to his seat without it folding, and I have never had anything seep through like some do. Last night I fried chicken, I took the pieces straight from hot oil to the paper plate with no mess left on my counter. Can't do that with Styrofoam! Just incase, I had layered a plate with a paper towel and topped with 1 more plate. When I was done the paper towel in the middle was still dry! People from other countries often ask why Americans use paper plates, they say it's a luxury. Maybe it is! I hate washing dishes every time someone makes a sandwich. Also I am on auto delivery so I never run out!
