i had been buying cheap thin paper plates, but always needed a plastic holder to keep them from bending. these are quite study. i use a LOT of paper plates, living in the woods with questionable hot water and drainage issues (plus i hate washing dishes). when i am done with one of these, it becomes a cat food plate, and later the dog gets to lick the residue. eventually, i can burn them. even have a pretty design.

I live with my brother and grown nephew. We all work at different times and very seldom do we eat together. Having sturdy paper plates to eat on works out the best for us. These plates are strong, sturdy and never leak. I get a great deal on these plates from Amazon and buy them whenever we are down to a few so we do not run out. If we have company, we use them then as well. Our company has commented on how pretty, sturdy and handy they are. These are just the right size for us no matter what we are haveing for our meal. If you have not tried these, you should even if its just for days you don't feel like doing dishes!

These are fairly sturdy, and inexpensive. My only complaint is I don't like the pattern or color of plates, but that is simply my personal taste. Others may like them fine.
