These cups are not perfect, but giving them 5 stars for the price point and functionality. This is the third cup we've tried for our 10 month old, so the fact that they work is a win. The first two were leak proof but it was extremely difficult to get the liquid out (even for an adult!). These have great straws that my baby can drink out of perfectly, and I love that the straws come apart for washing. Easy to keep clean and no concerns about mold. They are not completely leak proof, and when he shakes the cup or messes with the straw the liquid will spray a little bit. But the weighted straw works so well that I still think these are worth it.

This sippy cup has been the best one we have tried. Yes, it spills slightly if your baby is throwing it all over the place or constantly has it upside down, but the straw helps so much and he's really getting the hang of it even after just a couple days. Completely recommend this product.

My 1 year old has started using straw cups recently, but unfortunately most of the ones that I have that are more suitable for her age was showing some major wear from her older sister that is 2 years old now and I had to toss them since the brands I was using doesn't have replacement straw options. My husband did buy a few new straw cups that were one of the brands that we were using, but I really wanted to find one that you could find replacement straws for . After looking at a few different brands I found that Dr.brown cups do in fact have replacement straw kits... That alone was what made me look into the reviews and what I found was definitely what made me go with the Dr. BROWN straw cups! After receiving them I of course took them apart to wash which was very easy to do. While Washing them I found no issues. However the only issue I found was probably seating the straw together..lol I thought I got a defective cup since the milk I put in the cup couldn't be sucked through the straw. Luckily my husband decided to check it out and found that i didn't properly put the straw together . After he fixed the issue we haven't had any problems with them. Overall I'm very pleased with the Dr.Brown cups I find that they are very well made and easy to use if you properly put the straw together the right way . My 1 year old Daughter seems to enjoy them and we haven't experienced any leaking so far. That being said I will definitely be buying more of these cups !

These are definitely my favorite of the no-leak straw cups for a few reasons 1. The ounce markings let you see how much your little is drinking. 2. The handles are removable, so the cup can fit in the stroller cup holder or side diaper bag pocket easily. 3. All the parts, including the lid, can be disassembled and run through the dishwasher The drawbacks are the same as with all leak-proof straw cups— it requires a very powerful suck to get any liquid out, and very little liquid comes out when it does, which is fine for a baby whose majority calories are coming from formula or breastmilk. We noticed our toddler was not drinking a lot of water, and once transitioning to a traditional water bottle the problem fixed itself. We will continue to use Dr. Brown’s while our children are infants, but will transition to a different straw cup when they get older.

I absolutely love Dr. Brown's Milestones Baby's First Straw Cup for my little one! This cup is perfect for transitioning from a bottle, and the soft straw makes it easy for my baby to learn how to sip independently. The spill-resistant design is a huge plus-no messy leaks, even when tipped over! The goz capacity is just right for small hands, and the dark blue & vintage yellow colors are adorable. I also appreciate that it's BPA-free and easy to clean, with all parts coming apart for a thorough wash. The handles make it easy for my baby to hold, and the flip-top lid keeps the straw clean when not in use.

I got these cups when my son was 9months old and he is also most 2 and we still use them. They are easy to clean and he can use them very easy. These are the best cups I have ever used to transition from bottle to sippy or straw cup.

These are aesthetically pleasing. I like the weighted straw and my 1 year old drinks well from it. It’s too hard to screw back together and leaks easily. They are making me crazy. It’s also not so easy to clean. I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

Got this for my baby since the Munchkin version we already have is getting wore and starting to leak a little. So far we haven't had any concerning leaking issues. One of the main reasons I chose this one was for the measurements on the bottle (US oz and ml). I also like that the handles are removeable and the straw cover slides into place securely. We only use this cup for water, so it has not been an issue, but I can see how it would be difficult to clean under the sliding straw cover if it happened to get something gross in there. I find the straw somewhat strange to clean. Unlike the Munchkin straw cup we have this straw breaks down into two pieces that you can then clean. The design allows for baby to take in a sip at a time without having to have a little bite-down valve inside. I'm not sure if you really need to pull the pieces of the straw apart to clean it sufficiently. However, since I realized it does come apart, I always do, just in case. The way the straw is designed works fine and my kid seems to like the cup and drink well from it. The weighted straw end works well too.

My daughter refused to drink from a bottle, and when she started teething, she also started getting fussy about breastfeeding, so trying to feed her was getting stressful. She took to these immediately and now drinks from them every day.

It's a perfect size and comfortable for the child to hold. But unfortunately after 2 weeks of usage, it has become uneasy to travel with it as it leaks a lot from the straw itself. For such a reputed brand, expected it to be accurate as what it states.
