Did this one night in our drains in our bathroom and let it sit overnight, then used the foamer by Drano and boom haven't seen any since (knock on wood). The stuff comes out of the bottle quickly and is clear whereas I was thinking it was blue-colored. Just be sure you don't get this stuff on your skin.. it tingled my skin immediately after getting a drop on my hand as I poured it. Usability: For our case, it may not work for you but hey works for drain flies so that's nice! Overall Thoughts: Didn't smell bad, the liquid is clear so be careful of spills, and make sure to NOT spill this on your skin.

While waiting for the Drano MAX Gel to arrive, I attempted to clear the clog manually by removing the pipes and washing them out but it had minimal impact on the stuck drain. The problem seemed to be deep within the wall, possibly requiring a plumber to snake it. It took a few days for the Drano Max Gel to arrive, which was longer than I expected. My bathtub was clogged for a week. Bought this and cleared the clog in 30 minutes. Pour Drano in, wait 30 minutes and rinse with hot water. It didn't leave a bad smell either. Highly recommended!!!

I followed the instructions on the label, but was only able to clear the pipe on the third try. I needed more product to solve the problem. Other products work more effectively.
