The vacuum’s suction power is impressive, even on the medium setting, which is what I use for most jobs. On medium, the run time is about 22 minutes, which is usually enough to clean several rooms or tackle specific messes. On the highest setting, the run time is shorter—around 12 minutes—but I rarely find it necessary to use that level of power. The dustbin is on the smaller side, so it does need to be emptied more frequently, but the process is quick and easy. For such a compact and portable vacuum, this is a minor trade-off. As expected with Dyson, the build quality is excellent, and the vacuum feels sturdy and durable despite its slim and lightweight design. My first time purchasing a Dyson and bought it on this much advertised sale of half off. It's a mini masterpiece with great suction and lightweight maneuverability. Unlike many others I do not mind holding the button down at all and even think this feature makes sense because it helps minimize battery drain. I gather other higher end Dyson vacuums have more bells and whistles but I don't really need this. I just want something that is powerful and lightweight which is exactly what this is. The wall mount that is set up to charge the device is incredibly convenient. Yes, the canister could be a bit larger but such is life.

this vacuum is the slim version, it is light weight and slightly shorter compare to the other dyson i had, if you are a big chunky man it might not fit you because you need to bend your waist as you clean, I'm almost 5'7 it is perfect for me, i use it for my 1600 sq ft whole carpet house and the battery is good enough for me to vacuum the entire place. suction is powerful and it's quiet i have no complaints.

I bought this given all the hype and because it was on sale. Lightweight and easy to use but that’s all. I have dogs so there’s plenty of dog hair. This vacuum gets clogged continuously and it’s not easy to free the clog. Definitely would not recommend. In fact I will be returning.

It was so light and easy to put together that I was skeptical about how good it would be. It is powerful and cleans 10 times better than my old vacuum. The canister is so easy to empty. For the first time in my life I look forward to vacuuming!

PROs: Product assembled easily out of the box. Easy to empty dirt chamber. Display lets you know just how much battery you have remaining. Other reviews complained about the trigger. I found it easy to use and had no problem with it. CONs: You have to use it on boost mode to clean sufficiently. That being said, you only get to use the unit for seven minutes before the battery runs out. Economy mode, which promises a longer run time, does not adequately clean. I’m 5’7”. I have to slightly stoop to use because the handle length is on the short side. Battery life is insufficient. Takes 2.5 hours to recharge. It’s my understanding that you can’t purchase additional batteries. The dirt chamber is small, most stick vacs are though. IN SUMMARY: All in all I’m extremely disappointed. Product does not work as advertised. I don’t know if it’s just my unit or if they all are subpar. MY ADVICE? AVOID THIS STUCK VAC!
