The black is a good solid black, not real shiny but not flat and looks great on prints. The white is a little dull compared to other brands, but I will say elagoo pla+ make great quality prints. Prints are smoother with greater definition than others. Prints are consistent and look great.

UPDATE: Elegoo customer service reached out to me and apologized for any problems. We didn’t come to a reason for the printing issue but the customer service was great and they did send me 2 replacement spools which they did not need to do. I put a big emphasis on customer service and Elegoo went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and I truly appreciate that. I left my original review below to be fair and acknowledge I did have a small issue. Elegoo Pla+ is my go too. Love the bulk price and the quality. This was my first time ordering the 4 pack with the plastic spool. I was hesitant but it has the same name and description plus it was on sale so I bought it. Either I got a bad batch or it’s not the same. I always check on the first layer because I know that a good first layer makes for a good print. When I checked this stuff it was like bubbly, stringy and inconsistent. Idk if it’s moisture or what but when I switched to the cardboard spool all that when away and the print ended up working out. Pics are of bad 1st layer, plastic spool, vs good first layer after 8 switched to the cardboard spool. The difference is clear. So it works but I wouldn’t use it for anything you want to look smooth or probably anything tall where a stacking bad layers will cause problems. If anyone knows if their different filaments let me know. Thanks

Printed various projects in black and white. Looking for a regular black and white to stick to so projects stay consistent. Runs well on bambu labs x1c. Print quality works great with generic pla setting.

I received the filament slightly humid, as the silica gel was completely soaked. Nonetheless, the print results were outstanding! The prints turned out exceptionally smooth, with fantastic layer adhesion that produced strong and detailed models. Moving forward, I will definitely prioritize Elegoo Pro filaments over other brands. The humidity issue is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars; they really need to improve their storage practices.

I wanted a new go-to PLA that prints fast and well on the Bambu Lab X1C - and this is it! I got the white color, and did some calibrations (I'll share notable changes below) and I'm very pleased with the results. The spools come with a coating on the edges so it does not cause any fraying/dust in the AMS. I haven't had any issues with tangles, though I would recommend weighing down your spools with ball bearings once they get low. Notable changes for Bambu Studio/Orca: - Max volumetric speed = 20 mm^3/s - Cooling, Aux fan = 40% Outside of those two things, the default settings work really well! Get this stuff, and happy printing!

I really wanted to like this filament. After all, I've been using Elegoo filament almost exclusively since I got my 3D printer (Elegoo Neptune 3). I've tried some other brands, and had various issues, from inconsistency of diameter to wet filament causing zits all over my piece. Elegoo PLA (Just the normal stuff) has always done a great job. When I saw PLA "Pro", I thought this would be great. Increased toughness and rigidity, with the quality that I've come to know and love. Little did I know.... There's something that's just not right with this filament. I can print models that have previously had zero issues, and suddenly, the outer layer is peeling off. I'm not talking about the top or bottom...I'm talking about sides. Parts are losing all structural integrity because of delamination. There is a distinct lack of adhesion, and I have yet to figure out why. I've changed the nozzle temperature from 190 to 225, and it doesn't change. The only thing I can guess is that this filament contracts slightly when it cools, and it's sufficient to cause lessening adhesion. Additionally, I'm seeing black spots on my white parts that look like the filament is burning, but this printer has never shown that tendency before, and the temperature doesn't seem to matter. The only thing I haven't done at this point is to change feed rates, to see if increasing the feed might counteract the lack of adhesion. However, since I ordered a 4 pack of the black and the white, I may have to, just to be able to use it up. My advice to you, if you think you might want to try this filament, is to order a single roll and see if you can get quality results out of your printer. Maybe yours will be fine. There's plenty of reviews that seem to be okay with it. But if it's not, you'll not be happy as you reprint....and reprint....and reprint....and it's really too bad. I will still continue to use standard PLA - it's by far my go-to. But I'll stay far away from the "Pro" stuff

for some reason this last roll I got gave me problems from the start. not sure what was wrong with it but it gave me the blob of death 3 or 4 times. I usually use this brand and never had a problem. had to change my review. they stood behind there product and fixed the problem. thank you Elegoo for your service

On the recommendation from a friend who also has a 3d printer, I gave Elegoo PLA Pro a try. So far, I'm impressed. It's neatly spooled, accurate dimensions, prints great, large selection of colors, and all at a great price. My only complaint or recommendation is to include a resealable bag. I don't own a print farm, so I need something that will have a little shelf life - resealable bags with a desiccant packet goes a long way. Only a minor issue though - will definitely stick with Elegoo going forward.

Holds up really well under high speeds of 120mm/s, which is a game changer for me! The cardboard roll is much appreciated as it can be recycled. The colour is vibrant and consistent. The dimensional accuracy of the filament is also very very good. Best part is the value. - you're getting a brand name filament that performs excellent for the cost of generic filament.
