The black is a good solid black, not real shiny but not flat and looks great on prints. The white is a little dull compared to other brands, but I will say elagoo pla+ make great quality prints. Prints are smoother with greater definition than others. Prints are consistent and look great.

I've used a few spools of this and so far the quality and consistency has been good.

The filament works great. So far have not had any jams. The filament was more brittle than what I'm used to. That hasn't caused any issues.

This pla prints excellent and runs ok in my bambu x1c. The only problems I have had with it is roll was bent up pretty good making it no roll as good as it should in my ams unit. I'm pretty sure this is prob a shipping problem instead of a manufacturer but this will always be a problem to deal with with cardboard rolls.

I've been printing nonstop on my Bambu printer for the past few months. I have used a lot of different brands of PLA filament. This particular filament has performed extremely well. I came back to order more and took the time to share my experience.

After many failed prints due to adhesion issues, brittleness, and over-/under-extrusion and attempts to calibrate my printer for this filament (white), I emailed support. Elagoo's response was "When using a high-speed printer to print PLA pro, it is recommended to set the nozzle temperature to above 220 degC". Here's what I've seen as of this review: -Package specifies 180-210 degC. -Elagoo's website doesn't match that and states 180-220 degC and printing support for 50-250 mm/s -Elagoo support indicates to print above 220 degC for a "high speed" printer. This is a lesson learned for me, but I typically wouldn't run a temp tower outside of published specifications. My print speed (outside of slicer variation) is generally at 200 mm/s. Publishing this review since I'm a bit upset that I've gone through about 750g of filament between failed prints and testing calibrations. Still hopeful that I'll figure out how to work with this filament as other Elagoo products have been excellent. UPDATE: Prints at 225 degC are doing better. Still working to get my flow rate correct. The filament seems workable. I'm not seeking to test the claims of advantages of PLA Pro over PLA or PLA Matte; however, I've had great experiences with other Elagoo filaments, received a prompt response to this review, and received a prompt support response via email. I've modified my initial rating from 2 to 5 stars because I'm grateful for the generous support from Elagoo on Amazon and through email support. I will continue to buy Elagoo products and am undecided on whether I'd use their PLA Pro again at this point.

Update: I've had nothing but problems with this filament, it clogged my extruder and just printed horrible, cleaned and swapped back to my PLA Plus Elegoo and it printed perfectly fine. What's worse is Elegoo reached out to me and offered a full refund, I said yes please there is definitely something wrong with this pro line others are also complaining about it and due to major problems, I thew it away as I'm not even going to use it and was told I was going to be given a full refund, why would I keep a product I'm told I'm being refunded on that's defective? I've now updated my review to a 1 star, if you were not going to refund me, don't offer me a refund then say no we are not refunding you. Elegoo then instead said we now need you to send us your printer settings, your print and pictures and we will replace your item. Why would I need all this if you already said you will refund me? Elegoo then responded that they can not offer a refund that I will have to return it back to Amazon. So why offer me a refund in your first message and not respond I ordered the PLA PRO in hoping that this would be something better, but I have had nothing but issues with this filament printing. I got a double pack and the first did ok but had stringing problems, not horrible but enough to be annoying. The second roll I was running would spit out and leave splotches everywhere and string like crazy. I threw it into my filament dryer to see if maybe it was an issue but man, it fixed a lot of the stringing but it still was just spitting out almost like chunks at random points where it would ruin so many prints. For a PRO line it seems to be much, much worse and I am sad as I very much have had good luck with ELEGOO filaments. I see that many other reviewers have reported the same issues with these so I am unsure what ELEGOO is doing with this line but I would really look into it. I will be sticking to the PLA Plus and Rapid Plus line from ELEGOO as I've had wonderful results from them and don't see any difference in this PRO line at all.

We use PETG mostly at work, but it's not always the best for some things. I like that this is more durable than plain PLA, and still prints pretty nice. Supports break away better than PETG. Also, I have started using this as support material with PETG on our Prusa XL two head printer. You can set the interface layer distance to ZERO, like a soluble filament, and it prints a very smooth bottom layer on the PETG. You have to peel it away from the print, but it comes off pretty easily. Just make sure to set the bed temp to PETG temps and it will stick well. We may be buying another XL printer due to how well this works as a support material with the second printhead.

for some reason this last roll I got gave me problems from the start. not sure what was wrong with it but it gave me the blob of death 3 or 4 times. I usually use this brand and never had a problem. had to change my review. they stood behind there product and fixed the problem. thank you Elegoo for your service

On the recommendation from a friend who also has a 3d printer, I gave Elegoo PLA Pro a try. So far, I'm impressed. It's neatly spooled, accurate dimensions, prints great, large selection of colors, and all at a great price. My only complaint or recommendation is to include a resealable bag. I don't own a print farm, so I need something that will have a little shelf life - resealable bags with a desiccant packet goes a long way. Only a minor issue though - will definitely stick with Elegoo going forward.

Holds up really well under high speeds of 120mm/s, which is a game changer for me! The cardboard roll is much appreciated as it can be recycled. The colour is vibrant and consistent. The dimensional accuracy of the filament is also very very good. Best part is the value. - you're getting a brand name filament that performs excellent for the cost of generic filament.
