I got this bible for my husband and he loves it! It has great pictures to help understand, as well as maps. Very simple leather outside, not too flashy!

Got these to gift our college students as they graduated and moved out into the world. Love these copies of God's Word. The footnotes provide excellent cross-references and context, helping the students understand on a deeper level. Will continue to buy these for years to come!

I won't go into the details of translation or the study notes. Other reviews have done that in depth. I just wanted to give people a heads up that the print is very small. Smaller than what you get in a standard paperback novel, which I have no issues reading. If you have any vision issues at all get the larger size edition, not the personal size.

If you are seeking a detailed information Bible for study ~ this is it! Full of good references, maps and explanations, you will enjoy using this thick Bible. The materials are great quality and should last quite a while, perhaps you will need a different source before this one ages at all. Would recommend for anyone looking for many references.

Play Video I wanted a Bible that is thorough and helped to give context, verses, historical information and etc. It has not disappointed! The lettering does feel a bit small for me (I'm in my 20s). I'm not farsighted, but sometimes the words run together for me because they're small. The one con about this Bible is it STINKS horribly for the first few days. I may have a more sensitive nose (only a few times Ive smelled things others havent, but for the most part I'm normal) than others or happened to get a weird smelly Bible... but it made me NAUSEOUS! It smelled like chemicals and made me feel sick. I ended up cleaning off my Bible with a wipe because it was so bad (accidentally wiping some of the gold off 🥲). It smelled sooo much better after that, but a few days later it no longer smelled or made me feel sick. I bought this Bible for someone else and they also said it had a pungent smell... so be careful! I hope this was helpful, God bless! One thing I forgot to add in my video: before each book it doesn't just talk about the history surrounding the book! It talks about themes, the message, gives an outline, talks about the language used (poetic, meaning of words, how it is set up/syntax)... It's very extensive!

These were awesome!! I ended up having to return them because I needed regular bibles for some high school graduates, but I loved how it felt and looked. Super thick and jampacked full of info — I don’t agree with all the info or how some verses were explained, but it’s so educational and helpful that those things are not an issue for me in the long run.

I love everything about it except one thing which would make me hesitant to recommend it.. They don’t capitalize the H in He/Him/His for God. So it gets a bit confusing if you are used to that.

The size is the same of myThompson Bible , it has good quality on the pages, not so thin also has the letter size confortable, a little bigger than Thompson, this maps and illustrations are fantastic, many notes and cross references I loved this Bible, 😍🥰

This study Bible is a game changer! I love the contextual references that make understanding what I’m reading so much easier! I have marked in it with highlighter and it only shows through a tiny bit! Highly recommend!

This is a well made and beautiful bible the cover is soft and hard wearing, I’ve had mine for close to ten years and it’s still in good condition. The ESV translation is a joy to read and the clarity and accuracy of the translation makes reading Gods word a pleasure. The pages are high quality and the text is clearly presented and although each page is filled with scripture and notes it’s easy to read and find your place. The notes are excellent and the additional, maps, illustrations and notes at the back are exceptionally good and gives the reader everything they need to study God’s word for themselves.

Wer - wich ich - an die wötzliche Inspiration und an die Irrtumlosigkeit der Bibel glaubt - und zwar in jeder Hinsicht -, ist mit dieser Studienbibel sehr gut bedient. So etwas gibt es m. W. im deutschen Sürachraum nicht, im amerikanischen aber nicht nur einmal. Außerdem ist die Übersetzung im Großen und Ganzen verlässlich. Trotzdem sollte man immer eine gute Interlinearübersetzung konsultieren (Bible Hub online ist besonders empfehlenswert, mit den Metalinks u. a. zu Strong). Geeignet sowohl zum intensiveren Bibelstudium als auch zur Vorbereitung von Kurzpredigten. Die Beschreibung im Text ist zutreffend, alle Features sind tatsächlich vorhanden und gut nutzbar.
