This part of the review is written by my cat: I love dad's endoscope because it allows him to find my toys when I put them under the refrigerator or his coffee bar. The lighted end is pretty good at illuminating dark places and sometimes it is a fun toy itself! The camera's image quality is decent for the price dad paid in his silly human money. The semi-rigid wire makes it easy for the endoscope to reach the back of the fridge where I sometimes hide my toys after giving them a really good swat! Thanks kitty. This is her dad typing now. The smartphone app for this is a little janky but workable for what needs to be done (view video from the endoscope). The interchangeable tips for the scope are a nice touch but I have not had to use them yet. I think the magnet end would be most useful for something that's actually magnetic... the hook end is a very small hook and precise control of the endoscope starts to become difficult the longer you're reaching. The semi-rigid cable does make it easier to reach far underneath something without much deviation. The light is a nice touch and fairly bright considering you're probably scoping into dark, confined places.

WHAT A GREAT TOOL!!! WE RECENTLY LOST MY WIFE'S WEDDING RING WHILE SHE WAS PERFORMING SOME HOUSE CLEANING FOR A TEAM SOFTBALL PARTY. SHE WAS NOT SURE WHERE IT FELL OFF. WE LOOKED EVERYWHERE EVEN THE AIR DUCTS ON THE FLOOR. BUT, I COULD ONLY SEE SO FAR WITH THE NAKED EYE. WELL, I ORDERED THIS TOOL AND LO & BEHOLD I WAS ABLE TO LOCATE THE RING WITH THIS CAMERA. IT HAS MORE THAN PAID FOR ITSELF JUST ON THIS ALONE. PLAN ON USING IT TO INSPECT PLUMBING, DUCTS FOR DIRT, AND INSIDE MY HOT TUB FOR ANY ISSUES. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Bought this borescope inspection camera with a light because I had a small leak in my shower. I did not want to tear up the entire wall to find out where the leak was coming from. I was able to drill several holes along the back wall of the shower where the leak was to use the borescope to inspect. The light was great because I could see inside the dark wall and was able to pinpoint the leak. The camera hooked up to my phone seamlessly and I could take photos to get a better look at the leak and if there was any major damage. I am very happy with that I did not have to tear my shower apart to find the leak, the borescope saved me a lot of time, energy and money.

It is advertised as 1920P HD. Not true. The picture is so bad I can't make out what is on the screen.
