I recently purchased this chair after using faux leather chairs for years. This one easy to assemble and is extremely comfortable, with great support for long hours at my desk. I am 5' 7''and can say that back support of this chair is on point. Head rest is on the point as well even though you can adjust per your comfort level. Mesh fabric is super comfortable also the seat has a firm feel yet bouncy feel that makes it easy to sit there for hours. One standout feature is the retractable leg rest—it’s perfect for leaning back and taking a break during the day. I was very much impressed with the comfort and build quality. If you’re looking for a chair that balances comfort, support, and thoughtful design, this one’s an excellent choice!

I recently purchased this ergonomic office chair, and it has completely transformed my work-from-home setup. The design is not only sleek and modern but also incredibly supportive. The adjustable lumbar support is a game-changer, as it keeps my back properly aligned even during long hours of sitting. I love the breathable mesh backrest—it keeps me cool and comfortable throughout the day. The seat cushion is firm yet comfortable, providing the perfect balance of support and softness. The adjustable armrests and headrest make it easy to customize the chair to my exact needs. Assembly was straightforward, and the quality of the materials is evident. Since using this chair, I've noticed a significant reduction in back and neck pain, and my posture has improved dramatically. It's well worth the investment for anyone looking to prioritize their health and comfort while working. Highly recommended!

I purchased this chair to replace the one I have been using for about a decade. Besides the price, the features that were most attractive were: 1. The lumbar support. This is quite comfortable. 2. Open weave seat and back design. I find this more comfortable than solid foam. 3. Easy adjustable back - from multiple angles to rocking. Well built and easy to assemble. I highly recommend.

I bought this to replace a high back executive chair that lacked ergonomic design. While this is not as “comfy” it feels much more supportive. The build quality is above average for the price, although there are a few observations that could be addressed in future revisions: 1) There is some slight lateral wobbliness in the back rest which appears to source from the rails not sitting snugly enough in the grooves of the back rests’ vertical adjustment sliding mechanism. No matter how tight the screws can be made, it does not decreases the wobble. 2) The lumbar support should be adjustable. It offers support but perhaps a tad too much especially when sitting completely upright. It might feel for some that the seat is too shallow as a result. 3) The leg rest is a nice feature but the manner in which it needs to be pulled out and put back in is a bit clunky. Overall for the price, this is an excellent task chair that may likely need to be “broken in” a bit more as it could come off as stiff out of the box. So far it has helped me to maintain a more ergonomic posture while working in my home office so that alone is a huge plus. The leg rest is nice when needed but I just haven’t had a chance to use it much.

This review is for the marrap model W99, bar code X0049DA2ML. The bolt package was right at the top of the box, which was good. What was bad was that the instructions were right at the bottom of the box, partially under one of the flaps, and could not be accessed without removing everything else. Obviously, the manufacturer has an assembly problem. The pictures were fairly well descriptive, with letter codes for each screw type. It should be noted that all screws were not used. Some were labeled correctly for quantity, and some were not. It took roughly 40 minutes to assemble; much in line with others' experiences for chairs like this. My wife helped hand me the screws and hold parts in place. It was necessary to use a piece of wood and a hammer to drive the wheels into place. I also found that the appropriate bit in my cordless driver on the lowest speed setting help immensely in screwing the screws at a good torque setting. This sped assembly up a great deal. I am reviewing this based upon my size and weight, as well as some experience in office chair usage over the years. I am 5' 11" and 205 lb. What is first noticeable is that the chair does not have a knee-tilt chair mechanism, which is often preferred. Instead, when one tilts back, the seat raises slightly in the front edge which would tend to cut off circulation under the knees and raise the gravity pressure off the heals and ankles. While there is a curve downward at the front edge of the seat, if one stretches out one's legs, the legs do come in some contact with the seat's front edge. The amount of contact would be determined by the weight of the legs. I did not find the chair very noisy, nor did I find a problem rolling around on a wood laminate floor. It worked as expected in that regard. The arms can be pushed forward, and at their most forward position they are barely adequate. While they feel good under my arms, my wrists stick past the end a good 2.5" or more. Not necessarily ideal. There are good options for adjusting up and down, as well as rotating outwards. There is no side to side, or 4D, adjustment. Ergonomics dictate that the body must be held in a position one would experience in outer space with no sense of gravity. This means that all joints are neither in extension nor contraction, but in mid point. When feet are flat on the floor, the upper leg must be parallel to the floor. This chair does not allow that to happen, but comes close. It obviously would do better for taller individuals, and so should not be purchased by people less than six foot tall since the piston does not allow the chair to go any lower. The seat feels fairly good. It is as expected when using mesh chairs. They tend to support the body more evenly by stretching our or giving way according to weight at a given point. In this regard, the chair could be a little wider for me. This is the reason that expensive chairs like the Aeron chair come in many sizes. But sometimes you get what you pay for. The bolster for the small of the back is an interesting consideration. This lumbar support has a pronounced curve to it and is spring-loaded. Such a thing should be a concern to all purchasers because of how it dictates the way a person sits in the seat front-to-back. While I could immediately feel it on my back, it did not seem to be a big problem. Its support slight lessens as one tilts backward, and does not seem too intrusive overall. The headrest is good. It is out of the way unless I lean back, and then it is adjustable in all the right ways. I found that I could adjust it to the back of my head, as a true headrest. But it could also be adjusted to support at the curve of neck to head. Both were comfortable. However, it cannot be pushed forward to reach when sitting upright. The tension adjustment comes fairly tight and should be left that way until one gets used to the chair. I like the idea of being able to slightly rock back during regular, upright use of the chair. The back tilt is only a three position one, and is difficult to release under gravity weight against it. The footrest is more of a leg rest because of its extension length. However, I liked the support at my lower calve and ankles, and the mechanism seemed strong enough to support my weight. Still, when setting upright, it sags downward and does not offer straight-out support. It simply forces the seat to tip forward in an uncomfortable manner. Only when fully reclined does it work correctly. The overall review of this chair, its features and functionality is clearly indicating that it is a jack of many trades, but master of none. It is sad when manufacturers go to all the trouble to design and put together all the parts, but fail to design the parts in a good way. Simple adjustments here and there, as well as giving the buyer a choice of sizes is a big failure and could be so easily fixed. Worse yet, the vast majority of other brands have the same problems. I will use it for awhile and report back. Review Update: After a week of use, I notice the the front edge of the seat is uncomfortable on the legs. I can feel the metal bar in the front that makes up the front part of the framework. The mesh is not tight in the area behind it and so the loss of support cause contact the the metal. Circulation is cut off by this huge design flaw. I am downgrading the overall rating because of this. The problem appears to be that the seat is too short and too narrow. It is too narrow by about 3 inches and too short by about 4-5 inches. I would not recommend this chair for the average North American. I have had to return the chair as it was too uncomfortable in the long run. The way the seat and leg rest fit was very poor and not acceptable.
