Great for beginners! Weight bars are sturdy nice size weights and easy to assemble.

We have converted a portion of our garage into a home gym and these weights have been the perfect addition. They are durable, easy to use and come with all the accessories needed to get a great work out.

This set is well made and convenient to use! Great value especially because it was a lightning deal. The collars start to slide a little on the individual weights as dumbbells which is why u knocked it 4 stars. Overall great.

Yes, the plastic does feel a bit cheap, and I'd be concerned about the nuts not holding up, but I have standard issue dumbbell poles, squat bar, nuts, and clamps, and these weights fit perfect on the regular metal bar and dumbbell bars that I have. For what this is, it's an amazing value -- truly. But I'm not worried about the plastic bars and nuts holding up, so understand that. I needed more weights, and the versatility and quality of these plastic covered plates is awesome -- I do love the plastic coated weights more than the old school no coating metal plates. I had a huge set at one time, had to downsize to the 2.5 + 5 pound plates when I moved. I've been putting together a new home gym, and when these came as a lightening deal, I caved to the marketing -- but it really was a good deal, and I can now use my choice of bars, and have plenty of weights to work with. The only thing that would make this better would be if the chest press/kettle ball came with a second pin so that we could make two kettle balls, not just one. Many kettle ball routines use a kettle ball in each hand, and I don't think you can buy the little stem separately. That would be awesome -- perhaps the seller will allow a separate purchase. Anyway, this set is a great addition to my evolving home gym. I'd probably be less excited if I didn't have my own standard gym bar and dumbbell sets, but that's okay. I think this would be an excellent set for anyone just getting started.

I wanted a reasonably easy, convertible set of handheld weights for a home that I could use to work on overall body strength. I have bands for resistance training, but some things just work better with weights IMHO. This set is reasonably priced, and easily changes from barbells to kettles to dumbells. Definitely recommend, even for us more mature folks who have some difficulty with our hands, these secure easily!

Decent product for strength training at home. They are advertised as 50lbs (two 25 lb sets) but they actually come out to 48 lbs altogether. I find the 4.5 lb plates to be pretty useless. Assembly is quick and easy. Make sure you screw the plates on tight or they will come off. Good in a pinch, but I would suggest saving your coin and getting the more pricey ones that actually are 50 lbs.

My son (almost 16) requested a set of dumbbells. I had no clue what to get but the reviews and price told me to give this set a try. He loves it. It came with everything it said and assembles easily. Would recommend!

I really like this Dumbbell set. It has nice feel to the texture. And although plastic, (or perhaps vinyl), they don’t feel cheap. The set looks good, too. I like the Orange and Black look, compared to the other Red and Black sets available. I also really like that you can spin the orange locking nuts on by giving them a good hard spin - and they'll keep going - sometimes all the way on, (depending on how hard you initially spin them), without having to constantly keep turning and cracking them all the way on. (Same with removing them.) The orange locking nuts have 2 opposing 'extended nubs' on them, to aid in cranking them down tight. There is a foam-padded area on the center bar that would touch or rest on the back of your neck, when using the bar fully extended with both arms. The two shorter individual threaded bars turn in quite far - all the way into the center bar for added stability. There are also 2 Kettle Ball Handles, and a dedicated Kettle Ball End Piece, which helps me keep a controlled grip on them, when slowly and carefully using the weights to dip behind my back and shoulders, (among other alternate exercises). The spacious openings of the Kettle Ball Handles are plenty wide enough, as well, (if two hands are required or preferred), allowing for different positions to hold, grasp, and maneuver them. For a really good product, it’s very well priced, compared to the other options available. I’m happy with the set! [One Word of Caution: I would caution against dropping them, though, as they are most likely filled with sand, (or something similar), and could therefore crack and split open, if dropped from high enough up. There is a bit of a slippery feel to them to be aware of.] Each Dumbbell arrived individually protected in its own soft sleeve.

Weights shipped fast. Easy to assemble to your liking, handles comfortably and sturdy. However the nuts that screw onto the end of the bars and hold the weights in place tent to come loose at times. Overall the price is not bad for a set of weights for beginners not looking to spend huge amounts of money.

This product is amazing and what an unbeatable price! It all seems to be good quality. I love how versatile it is. I get a great home workout done and it’s easy to target all the muscles!

I have never written a review as quickly as I have today after receiving these weights. Normally I like to use whatever product I purchase for a couple of weeks so that I can give an honest educated review. With this product though, I don’t need a couple of weeks to know the quality of this set is awful. And it’s awful for a plethora of reasons. Here are the top 3 problems with this product and reasons you should NOT buy from this seller: 1. The dumbbells can be assembled, however, with every part of this product (aside from the weights themselves) being plastic, no matter how tight you think the nut is screwed in, it loosens within seconds of lifting them and the weights begin to move around thus making it difficult to remain in a steady position. So unless you are fine with continuously retightening the weights in place between each lift, the dumbbells are pretty well useless. 2. The kettle bell rods threading is completely off, so I can’t get the rod to twist into BOTH kettle bell handles without it getting completely stuck to the point where I couldn’t even twist it off on my own. So the kettle bell is also useless to me. 3. The barbell rod that connects the two dumbbells, also has a threading problem, so it will not twist in tight which means I can just pull it out without twisting it. Once you get to the middle where it should tighten up, it just keeps twisting. You can’t use it without the risk of the dumbbell slipping right off mid lift and severely hurting yourself. Again useless. EDIT* Over and above those 3 things, the weights do not total a weight of 50lbs (which was what I thought I was purchasing). I was so busy paying attention to all the other issues with this set that it took 4 days to realize they don’t add up to 50lbs. The weights add up to 19kg, which equals to 41lbs NOT 50lbs. I ordered 50lbs, but I’m getting 41lbs??? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE SELLER! So all in all I spent $125 on a completely versatile weight set that I cannot use. The fact that this seller has listed this product for an outrageous price should be criminal, considering what I received today. I truly feel robbed of $125. I knew this was plastic, however, with paying $125 on them I figured it would be (at the very least) half decent quality- not as bad as this. Very disappointing and very frustrating. Do not waste your time, energy and most of all, your hard earned money on this product. Trust me when I say BUYER BEWARE.
