I was finally able to use the warming mat. What an awesome kitchen addition. I have a gas (counter) stove top so keeping dishes warm is hard to do for an extended period of time. Here are MY personal pros and cons: PROS: ❗️The carrying bag is awesome. Which means you can take it to all your family/work/friends meal gatherings. It also keeps the detachable cord from getting misplaced. ❗️the adjustable strap to keep it rolled up is genius. It’s the attention to detail and convenience that I look for in kitchen gadgets/items. ❗️multiple heat settings (max of 212°). The entire mat is the same for heat to be evenly distributed. Some foods need a lower heating (think a small dish/pan or a meat dish that doesn’t need further ‘cooking’). And some need a higher heat setting to stay warm/hot. I would suggest using a lid or cover on your dishes so the heat doesn’t escape the dish. ❗️plenty of room for large pans. I had a 6 qt and two 3 qt pans on the mat. Plenty of room to squeeze a small saucepan on there if needed. ❗️ there was NO silicone smell on first use. ❗️it was warm on the inside of the white lines. The edges didn’t heat up so you are able to touch the very edge of the mat. ❗️you can set the timer to keep dishes warm for various times. I only needed an hour. But it will go to 4 hours. ❗️the water droplets are from the condensation of the lids. Yes - that’s how warm/hot it kept my dishes. And the food didn’t stick/burn to the bottom of my stainless steel pans. ❗️the ‘fins’ on the bottom kept the heat of the mat from completely touching the countertop. They are approximately 1/4” high. I have a marble top so I can’t speak/suggest anything for a laminate top. My countertop did did get quite warm. ❗️the silicone is high quality and thick. CONS: ❗️ I can’t think of any. 😊 If you cook a lot and need to keep the dishes warm. - you need this mat.

I have only used this twice, first time just to test it, second time to keep side dishes warm while I finished cooking the main dish. it works exactly as advertised, and heats up incredibly fast! I really hope this is constructed well, because I cook many large meals on a consistent basis for family and friends. I have always wanted one of those warming trays, but they are expensive and bulky, while offering very little heated surface area. This matt can hold A LOT of dishes at a fraction of the cost, and it has several, specific presets which most metal warming trays do not, or if they do it’s “hi/low”, which doesn’t tell me anything about what temp it is going to keep my food at. You also get the bonus of silicon having an excellent “grippy” surface, so food can easily be served while it’s still on the mat. This is far more safe than having your serving dishes sliding around on a hard and slick surface while guests are trying to spoon up some mashes potatoes or something. Clean up is quick and easy, and it rolls up nicely for storage until the next family gathering! Just be wary of temperature settings for the type of surface you put it on. I have super thick, granite countertops that can handle extremely high heat, so I have no worries. You definitely do not want to use this on a plastic folding table, it will definitely do damage and even melt it. Just keep in mind that the heating element is just barely elevated above the surface that it is sitting on, so you do not damage your table or countertops.

The lowest temp is still pretty warm, so keep that in mind if you don't want food to overcook (think steak, shrimp, chicken, etc). I wish the temp control was more of a rheostat vs set temps you cannot change. Still, all in all, I think it will be super useful. I love the storage bag (which could be a little bigger to make it easier to put the unit back in). Will be great for parties!!

Play Video I have really been enjoying this heating mat. We host people for dinner a lot and it’s nice to finally have something that works like a chafing dish without the big expense, hassle of setup, and pain of cleaning a chafing dish. No flame needed, no stereo. Just turn it on and bam. Dinner or Hors d'oeuvres kept warm for guests. I have also used it several times just to keep dinner hot when my husband is running late from work or to keep breakfast dishes hot while cooking multiple items at once but need the stove top. The medium setting works the best. The edges don’t heat up all outside the white lines so you can move it easily. Be mindful of where you place it because the underside does get hot but it wasn’t a problem on our marble counter top. I ran it up on the highest setting just to test it out and it does bubble up after about 10/15 minutes on 212 and I initially thought this was going to be a problem and cause it to be damaged but so far it always returns back to normal when cool with no damage or problems. The thing I liked most about it was how easy it was to clean. You can see how liquid beads right off when you wipe it and nothing so far sticks to the silicone. A very cool product. Rolls right up for easy storage and portability. Will probably take it for outdoor parties next!

Gave this as an early Christmas gift. It was used at thanksgiving. It was safe in our countertop. Kept food nice and hot. Light weight, easy to clean and the timer was great so good didn’t get dry while keeping warm. Looks great laid out and rolls up and fits in a bag. Easy to tuck away for next event. My family LOVES this!

Warmed food and plates well but did leave some marks on my wooden table even after I followed manufacturers recommendations. I would still recommend this product, just make sure your table or countertop is well protected.

It’s a great way to keep the goodies warm for your guests to enjoy. It’s a great item well designed and well made. The bag and strap made storage easy and convenient. Really pleased with my purchase

First use, I used this as a plate warmer, pleasantly surprised by how quickly it heats up, how easy it is to set and how well it warmed the plates. It sits sturdier than the traditional buffet server, heats up so much faster, and maintains the temperature of the food much better, the timer is an excellent feature and helps with energy efficiency. The material which it is constructed from is easy to clean and super safe should a spillage occur. The whole of the area heats to, and maintains the preset temperature, which is easily set or changed and clearly displayed on the neat control panel. Last night we used it to keep our takeaway buffet hot, it was so easy as I didn't have transfer into different containers, everything kept hot and everybody loved it. This is a must have item, it is good value for money, does exactly what it is supposed to do, and when or if you do want to store it, it fits easily and neatly into the bag. 5 stars all round from me.

Great for family/friends gathering and parties, as it keeps food and drinks nice and warm or hot depending what temp is set. It is very efficient in terms of size, and energy. According to the manufacturer it is energy saving, and I personally love how quickly it heats up. It is very powerful and takes only few minutes till it reaches 100°C and it can be set at any temp between 50°C and 100°C, timer can be set from 1h up to 6h. Size wise it is very efficient, can store a lot of plates and mugs as seen on the photos. The cable could be a bit longer however it's not a big issue if you have an extension cord or a socket in close proximity, as the cable is approx. 1.5m long, I would guess. The mat heats at the entire surface, not just in a few spots, and is good not only for keeping food hot but also for heating up food as well. I'm very happy with this purchase and have to say it's a game changer. Do you like to have a BBQ in colder weather or just have a gathering on the patio? No problem, this mat will keep your food and beverage nice and hot! Bonus - it also keeps people warm at the table, yay! I also wanted to mention that this mat is a high quality product from quality materials and is well made in every detail. I love the bag as it makes it very convenient for storing and traveling. It is easy to clean up as well. Can't fault it honestly. I think it's great value for money and a great addition in the kitchen, nice thing to have.
