Comes with everything you need as a beginner, which I am. You can start playing it right away (once you tune it, and it comes with an electric tuner). Once you understand how to use the tuner, it becomes something you can do in a few minutes. I've been playing for about 1 week, the guitar comes with metal strings and they sound wonderful. They also have replacement strings on standby. They give you 3 picks, I wish they were different grades, but they are all medium. Not a game changer in the slightest. Bag is nice, upgrading to a hardcase soon, but this bag will do and it does have a pocket on front for carrying your accessories. I don't have a DVD player to say much about the included DVD. The only thing I can say I dont completely like is the strap. The guitar only has one knob, the other side must be tied to the neck. The strap is good quality, but I'm not a fan of the fit. Still not a game changer in the slightest, just preference. The seller is very attentive as well and is willing to help you with anything from returns or fixes. Totally will by from seller again, this product is awesome. Looks slick in black and just the whole bundle in general rocks!

Recently bought. Received everything but the strings and got ahold of them. Wasn't expecting to get them but yesterday they showed up! They definitely do make it right and to me that's everything. The guitar itself has a bright tone. Of course you gotta adjust it to you. But I leave it in a 50°f garage and it stays in tune everyday! For the price, quality and if you don't get what's pictured they make it right!

I gave it to my sister because she like really wanted one. I also lost interest in it the moment I got it due to working factory jobs for the first time. I was like, idk 18 years old? 19? Anyways she has had it ever since then and it plays wonderfully with practice. It's size is acceptable/appropriate. It's worth the price for starters. The color is enough to make you wanna touch it up & down. Also it's not even heavy.

I've been a guitar player since 1966. I started teaching in 1988, and still have students today, although due to Covid, business has been slow. In addition to teaching, I've played solo shows a few times a week (since 1997), and before that played in rock bands for over 25 years. I'm no amateur, and I know guitars. Playing is my bread and butter. I recently traded my acoustic/electric guitars and acoustic Yamahas for a semi hollow body high end electric Gretsch, which is a beautiful guitar. But it occurred to me that I really need a simple acoustic for campfires, outdoor memorials, etc. An amp & electric guitar isn't always practical. I took a chance on this Squire, and it just arrived today. The finish is quite good, no defects. The intonation is pretty close, the action right out of the box is good, too. (It does have a truss rod with Allen wrench, if needed). It comes with a video, picks, strings, strap & nylon gig bag that looks durable, but I don't think it's foam-padded, but it's OK. I think those individuals that gave this a one-star rating and poor review probably received damaged goods. Mine arrived in fine condition. It plays well, and has good tone overall. I wish this guitar had been my starter guitar, but in 1966 when I started playing as a teen, my Dad could only afford a $39. department store guitar, but I played that guitar every day, for hours. If you're a beginner, this guitar package is a good value, and way better than what I started out with. Best of luck, and never stop playing!

The bundle is awesome, everything you need very inexpensive. Bought a stand for it, because I was tired of tuning it every time . Black does leave fingerprints but it is perfect for me. I learned how to tune without any help. Tried to watch youtube. It wasn't working, figured out you have to know the strings: E6, A5, D4, G3, B2, E1, came up with my own acronym (because thats how you get a MBA)-the ones online are too difficult. Eat A Delicious Green Bean Everyday. With the tuner included in the bundle, select the “G” for guitar, then strum E6 turn the tuning peg until the tuner turns green at E6. After knowing this you may watch a video. But if the line is left at the center for E6 then turn peg right until it turns green at center. If it is at A then turn left until E6 appears and adjust accordingly as you strum the line. I was disappointed that my black guitar didn't have a pin at the neck for the strap, you have to do the “shoe string” method but I am fine with it, not all guitars have them. I purchased the Sunburst bundle last year for my man, and his has the neck pin, and his came with the hard case, his was more expensive from same seller. Definitely will buy a few more for my sons, they love to use mine. Well wishes.. now on to practicing.

Love it, zipper on gig bag was broken. But don't really care as gig bags are a pain in the you know what anyways. I'm going to buy a hard case for it.
