I am loving these for my forehead and corner of eyes. I have very deep forehead wrinkles, and 11 lines, and after only a week or so I can see some improvement in my 11s, and a teeny bit in the forehead but I don't expect those to go way soon as I've had them for my entire life. The 11s have only shown up in the past year-ish, so I am seeing them improve already. I'm a side sleeper and they are helping with the deep wrinkle between my eyes and temples, so I bought some more for other spots on my face, and I mix and match to fit the spots I need covered. They do smell awful at first when you wet them, but it goes away fairly quickly.

Pros: After a couple of weeks of continuous use I’d definitely say I see a noticeable difference in my fine lines and eleven lines. It’s very noticeable in the morning after I take off the pads but I do feel like a lot of them come back during the day after making expressions. I’m 45 and bought these as an alternative to Botox, which I’ve never had. Cons: I understand what the other reviews say about the smell and ease of use. The smell is a little strong but it doesn’t bother me. I do find them fiddly to use. You have to get them the right consistency (I have found rose water toner works better than water) and I have to hold them on and press them down for a while before they get tacky enough to stick on their own. I do overlap them slightly as was recommended by their use video. I attached a crude drawing of where I’ve been wearing the pads. I also don’t find them that comfortable, when they dry it’s like having cardboard stuck to your face.. Then we you take them off you really have to get them very wet and wet your fingers before going in underneath and gently removing the glue bit by bit. If you try to just peel it off you’ll rip out your hair and probably leave your face red and irritated. I can see over time that these would have a benefit but I’m keen to try some other brands of adhesive pads as well.

I've worn these for a month now and I'm super impressed! I am 28, but my fine lines are more pronounced due to having an expressive face. For this reason, frownies have been super helpful. Here's what I do: - Use rose water spray. It does have a smell that's pretty unpleasant, however the reviews saying it smells like straight poo are overexaggerating. Using the rose water spray helps a little with the smell, and I feel it works better than water to get the adhesive to the correct tackiness. I bought it at Trader Joe's for $3 and only use one spray per frownie, so the spray will last me a loooong time. - Overlap and reinforce! The muscle at the center of my forehead is really strong. I put a diamond shape there (I place it so it covers my 11's too), but then put a triangle on top of that muscle to fully freeze it. I also cut one of the triangles in half to reinforce my temple area, as I find that area tends to have a harder time staying flat on its own. - Stick with it. It will take you a few nights and a few tries to find what works best for you. For best results, use them for 30 days straight then you can taper off to 2-3x a week for touch ups if you'd like. I will say my biggest con is that I use about 8 of the triangles in total, so a pack doesn't last me a whole month. Whatever though, it's still cheaper than botox! Overall, I'm very happy. Frownies are better than silicone or tape alternatives, because it "plasters" your face to hold it really well, thereby retraining the muscles over time to move less. I’ve tried a lot of options, but this one works best for me so far. After using it, I look like I’ve just had Botox??? My forehead feels firmer, softer and it actually makes a difference. The glue is gentle on the skin, stays in place overnight, and doesn’t cause any damage when you remove it in the morning. That said, keep in mind I’m 29, don’t have deep wrinkles or mimic lines, and have been getting Botox since I was 26. This product works more on muscle tension or that fatigue look you have. However, the smell is awful. I went to bed wearing these, and my husband asked if I forgot to take a bath. I found out it’s because they’re made from natural starches to help them stick to your skin. I asked it on tiktok and found out you can apply them with rose water or add a bit of essential oil once they’re dry to help. once it is dry the smell is not too horrible but it is still BAD. If you have a big forehead you will use a lot of patches so it might not be economical. I have a small forehead and I use 3 patches, one diamond and 2 triangles. I can tell you this works, but it is expensive.
