We give our baby her daily vitamin d with this paci. It is effective and better to use than the syringe. She just sucks the medicine out like she would a normal pacifier. It’s a cute little gift to get someone for a baby shower and it comes in handy. It’s small so it fits in her hand perfectly if she wants to hold it. Worth the buy.

This made it so much easier to give my baby medicine. You can use different syringes also. The syringe it came with is a bit too large so I replaced it with a 1cc or tb syringe and it fit great.

This makes it so much easier to give medicine to a little baby or even a toddler! You don't have to worry about accidentally jabbing the gums or poking them in the mouth with the syringe because little babies don't hold still. The pacifier make it so much safer and easier to give the medicine.

This has been a godsend. My breastfed newborn requires daily vitamin D drops. The Fridababy medicine pacifier makes it so easy. He takes down the dose quickly with no mess! Previously we tried just using the dropper provided with the medicine, out it was too fast and most would dribble out of his mouth. I then bought the Dr. Brown Pacidose and it is a shockingly inferior product. It was better to just use the dropper with the medicine instead. This Fridababy product is incredible!

Clever for small baby. But don't know how long will be able to trick into taking meds this way

We frequently have to use Little Remedies Gas Relief and their Gripe Water for our 5wk old. The Gas Relief she takes easily woth the suringe it comes with because it's on the thicker side of consistency, but the Gripe Water she has trouble with because it is thinner consistency like melted pancake syrup and would kinda coat her throat making her sound like she needed to cough or making her gag/choke altogether, plus it was easy for her to push it out of her mouth with her tongue, leaving a sticky mess if we didn't catch it with a towel. The way this Frida Baby medicine pacifier administers the Gripe Water helps so much. We fill the syringe with the dosage she needs, insert it into the smaller opening at the base of the medicine pacifier, once she gets a few sucking motions in and creates a vacuum, we barely push the syringe and she honestly does the rest. The vacuum motion she creates pretty much pulls the Gripe Water out without us having to push the syringe once it gets going. Shes able to take it at her pace, no choking, no dribbling, no more sticky mess. Works for us really well!

I purchased this as soon as my daughter got sick as she does not like taking medication just by syringe. She will just spit the medication out. This makes it SO easy. You can't go wrong with this purchase!

So good and practical

Before this purchase we struggled with baby taking his daily medicine and vitamins. We tried syringing into his cheek or squirting slowly while he was sucking a dummy but we’d find it would always be spat out or run down his chin. This medicine dummy has been a lifesaver! He now gets every drop of his medicine and vitamins saving worries of if he had enough or changing clothes. I’ll admit the syringe isn’t always the most secure in the dummy but we’ve never had any spills, we just make sure to keep pressure on it! What’s great as well is that you can use it with other universal syringes so I use the syringe supplied for vitamins and then swap it while keeping the dummy in his mouth with a standard syringe filled with medicine. I’ve never had an issue with keeping clean either and I’m very paranoid with this as my baby was extremely premature. I fill the syringe with soapy water and squirt through, rinse throughly and sterilise in cold water Milton. We bought this when it was £27 and I know probably costs nowhere near that to make and have seen cheaper but it is worth it and we will be buying it again at that price when or if we ever lose it or it deteriorates! *Was my review helpful?
