This is my first bed in a box I've ever bought! I was a little nervous about the low price and not knowing what to expect, so naturally this has sat in my cart for quite a while. I purchased this mattress to replace my extremely old pillow top that I've had for well over 10 years. We have only slept on this for two nights so far, but OMG I am so impressed with how comfy this bed is!!! -We let it sit for one full day before sleeping on it, but it was pretty much ready to be used as soon as it was unpacked. No weird or chemical smells after opening. It also arrived three days early during the height of Christmas season! -Be careful when you cut the plastic off this mattress. It's vacuum sealed and literally burst open with enough force that it actually pushed me back a bit due to the inner coils! To be fair I probably opened it improperly. -It's definitely a true medium-firm. I HATE super firm mattresses. It is firm enough to provide support and soft enough to be comfy and cozy without sinking. I don't feel like I'm sinking into this mattress at all, and there are no imprints left from me sleeping on it all night. If it were any firmer it would be like laying on a board. -The edges of this bed do sink in more easily than the rest of the bed, which is to be expected considering ALL mattresses lack edge support to differing extents, but not nearly as severely as some of the other reviews had led me to believe. Some have suggested that you can't even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off, which is honestly just silly. You absolutely can comfortably sit at the edge of the bed without sinking in or sliding off, unless you weigh over 250 pounds or are using this bed with no base. We have this bed on top of our old box spring. My partner and I are both 30, weigh around 180 and have had 0 issues with the edge support so far. I actually sleep very close to the edge of my side, and I don't feel like I'm sinking or sliding at all. -I am an all-sides sleeper, I'm turning in bed all night like a rotisserie chicken. I find any sleeping position equally comfortable on this bed. It doesn't absorb movement to the same extent as a full memory foam mattress, so if you're sharing this bed with another person/doggy/etc you will feel them move, as you would with any other mattress other than full foam. -This mattress does hold onto heat. I run hot at night and I can definitely feel the difference between my old mattress and this one. It's not excessively hot but it's enough to be noticeable. I will update this review should something go horribly wrong but overall I'm really, really happy with this purchase! It has been worth every penny so far, it's an excellent mattress for the low price point and I would absolutely purchase again. I'm so happy to have a comfy bed again. I can't wait to sleep in on this bed on Saturday morning :)

While the bed is firm it's also forgiving and has comfort to it too. I'm surprised at the quality for the price and the only reason I gave it a try was because a friend suggested trying theirs. It's easy to set up (but be careful it can have a kick to it when you finally release it) and light enough to rotate or move a bit when putting sheets on.

I'm a pretty critical reviewer and will find immediate flaws.. I'm impressed at this bed for the price.. I have no opinion on durability because I just got it but it is very well made and solid.. Right out of the box it is usable.... Within 1 hour I was laying on it with no issues... I sat on the edge of the bed and there's good support right out of the box but take note I have an embeded bed frame that offer some side support.. I have no problem sitting on the edge and I'm sure that's the case without my frame which only provides a small amound of bottom edge support.. It's very well made and very comfortable.. not too soft or hard, seems just right... No weird smell... Only problems were with shipping.. The were supposed to deliver on Tuesday but it didn't arrive until Friday.. I had to nag at Amazon to get it delievered or I don't think I would have got it as quickly.... they said something about the manufacture not sending it to a near factory probably because of the recent hurricane that hit in Florida... It was worth the wait, but I did make 2 long chat sessions before getting it after the delivery promise... It is very heavy... The poor UPS driver struggled.. I helped him and it is even heavy with 2 guys... Don't lift this by yourself! Despite those issues I still give it 5 stars! I dragged the box over my bed frame and opened it.. Made sure it would unroll in the right posiition.. The king size fit perfectly in an embedded king size frame.. Now if you are an adult I recommend a frame, but for kids it doesn't really need one... however, it is better with a frame in any case because it is just nicer that way and more comfortable in my opinion... You also don't need a frame with the 14" that I got since it is so thick you won't feel the floor, I know I had a thinner bed and this is twice the thickness.. It's going to be comfortable either way but with a frame that has spring it will make it that much better.... I added a cover but you don't need one to make it more comfortable.. It is very comfortable to lay on out of box..

mattress arrived at my son's house for a gift. He describes it as firm and good quality. Easy to install. He claims the thickness is fine for fair night sleep. It seemed to be the size requirements without him measuring exactly. Reason for four stars out of five because it's barely new and I wanted to give it some time for wear and tear. I like the 100 day return policy which is why this one was chosen. I will come back and change to five stars after my son uses it for a while. So far so good happy people.

Purchased 2 of these mattresses for our guest rooms. Very easy setup. There was no smell and the mattresses started expanding immediately and appeared fully filled in after only a few hours. To avoid any issues we did give them a full day to inflate. Our guests have told us that the mattresses are very comfortable and they slept great on them. This was a big relief because buying a mattress for different body types was nerve-racking. I tested the water resistance of them and they do bead off water fairly well for normal spills. Overall, very happy with these. Functional, good quality = well rested guests!
