I had water under my sink and needless to say I needed to replace the silicone, used a putty knife to remove all the silicone, cleaned the area with a brush and rubbing alchohol then some compressed air and a heat gun to ensure it was completely dry which made installing new silicon with only 1 hour downtime total for a sink thats currently in use. This is crucial as we could not wait 24-48 hours without using the sink. Make sure to pierce the tube with the metal rod on your caulk gun after cutting open the nozzle, otherwise yea its not coming out and will come out the backside. Very low to no odor, it really is water-ready in 30 mins but it does take a full 24 hours to cure so be gentle with it and dont use any harsh chemicals until then. Was also enough to do my sink, the backsplash area, multiple large portions of my tub and still have 1/3 left.

This caulk is comparatively expensive, as there are acrylic + silicon caulk out there for 1/3rd the price. And those are OK. However, if you have to caulk a bathtub / kitchen sink like I did, you would be best off using a pure silicone one. These have more of a smell, but dries faster (and harder to cleanup if you've not used caulk before). The Amazon price is not much more than that from a hardware store. The little extra cost for delivery is worthwhile. Now, this thing applies and dries well -- in only 30 minutes, as advertised you have a pretty set line. Of course, you want to wait a full day before exposing it to water, and also before applying, clean and dry the area thoroughly. I've used GE silicon caulk several times, and the results are good. Overtime, all caulk gets hard and have the black-ish mold grow on them. You can't avoid that, and just have to clean the area, or re-caulk if you really want to. Finally, I want to say that it's rare to use up an entire tube, and you typically want a caulk saver (red wrapper cap) to keep the tube usable afterwards. I've gotten away with using the smaller squeeze tubes on smaller projects, and saved a few dollars. You can get a lot of done with the smaller tubes too.

It makes your shower look new again. It’s easy to apply and is more affordable than at a big box store. Make sure you only cut a small slit from the top so you can control how much comes out. Easy cleanup with paper towels. Great quality and will continue to get for other future projects. The one I got was white and waterproof, but there’s a lot to choose from. This is the clear winner for us.

Looks good, good value and quality. Easy tooling. Smooth and clear. Smells a little vinegar-y but goes away.

The GE Advanced Silicone Caulk for Kitchen & Bathroom stands out compared to other brands. This 100% waterproof sealant has been a lifesaver for my bathroom, offering 5X stronger adhesion than its competitors. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t shrink or crack, and the white color blends well with my fixtures. If you need a reliable and durable caulk that outperforms other options, this one is highly recommended!

My bathroom has a skylight. I'm not sure why someone thought a bathroom needed a skylight, but there it is. Over the last few years, the seal around the edge of the skylight failed and the gap seems to be getting larger. Every spring, the bees are looking for a new home and they find their way around the gap in the skylight. All kinds of bees. I don't mind the paper wasps, but the yellow jackets buzzing around the bathroom in the morning aren't very pleasant. I'm not sure why you needed to know that, but let me tell you that this GE Advanced silicon sealant was exactly what I needed to seal up my skylight and keep the bees out of my bathroom. My wife is also very happy about this too.

Does what it says. No negatives from me.

The product looks very good--semi transparent within gaps. However, application of the product is messy: when applying the bead along a gap, you may fail to apply a constant force to the gun such that a big glob or too little comes out. If you then try to wipe the caulk to smooth it out or apply more, then the job becomes messy. It's the only caulk I've ever worked with so I cannot compare it to other caulk. Overall, the product looks very good and is low VOC, so I do recommend it.
