I ordered these for a family gathering where we needed to keep food warm for the afternoon. We added the hot water to the trays, lit the stereos, and almost immediately the water started steaming. When the caterers delivered the food, the trays were ready to go. As the label says, they lasted a full 6 hours ! No muss, no fuss. In the past, with the gel stereos, I always had to maneuver the caps to lower the flame, they were hot, scary, and I was frightened all the time that I had to watch them. Not with these...they do what they are supposed to do and they work great! They are sealed, no risk of overflow, nothing leaks out. I would definitely use them again.

We used 3 of these at a party to keep our side dishes warm in steam plates. They worked well. And I have plenty left for next time. Good value for the money.

I’m very impressed with this chafing fuel. Each can burns for almost 6 hours, which is perfect for me since I can use them across two parties without any issues. Kept the food, nice and warm a little harder to put out than expected otherwise, everything was fine

I used one Gas One fuel can indoors at 66 degrees F to fry two eggs (10-12 minutes in 6" cast iron skillet), four pancakes (3-4 minutes per side in 6" cast iron skillet), boil water (2 cups in tightly covered small aluminium camping pot took about 30 minutes and reached 165 degrees F after 21 minutes), boiled two cups of white rice in 45 minutes in a medium sized aluminium camping pot, and boiled one packet of Ramen noodles for Ramen soup (45 minutes). Fuel was still left in the can. Burn was very clean with no smoke or odor and only a tiny amount of soot that was easily removed from under pots. The only con with this fuel can is that there is no temperature control as you can't adjust the size of the flame. However, it's not meant to be a regular stove, so no problem there. I cooked with the Gas One can in a Sterno Folding camping/emergencies stove ($11.99 on Amazon). The stove felt sturdy, provided a good cooking surface, and was not affected by the flame. The top of the flame was slightly higher than 1.25 inches from the bottom of the pot so it was almost at the sweet spot for maximum heat efficiency for alcohol stoves, although I'm not sure of what is ideal for this type of fuel can. The can seals well between uses (don't lose the opener!!!) with no danger of spillage, and it has a high quality wick. The can took about 30 minutes to cool down after extinguishing the flame with the lid. I am very impressed with how well the fuel can and stove worked together and bought more of each to share with family and friends so they can cook some food albeit slowly, in case the electrical grid goes down. Great combo especially for the price (currently $22.82 for pack of 12 fuel cans).

These STerno cans were great. super easy to light. they arrived on time. fits nicely into the chafing dishes i also purchased. would definitely use them again

These were great last a long time you can reuse them by just screwing the cap on came with a wrench to tighten and loosen the screw cap. Would definitely buy again.

Came quickly and worked as advertised.

Arrived quickly but there was some leakage and it was oily package when opened. There should have been an exterior label of keep upright and caution. Other than that, worked for my baby shower dinner buffet!

Consistently lasted over six hours. Chafing dishes take two, but only used one, & found it to be enough. I’ve been a chef since the late seventies, & have used many types of chafing dish fuel over the years, these are now my favourite! I do recommend Gas One six hour chafing fuel!

The fuel cans kept the chafing dishes so hot that we had to reduce it to only one/dish. They actually cooked the veggies, well actually overcooked them. In the future we will only use one per pan. Very happy with the purchase.
