Besides working great, it's easy to clean and store. I bought the red and it's pretty. Seems sturdy and attaches easily and firmly to the counter top, with easy release. I use it a lot!!

This little grater/slicer is absolutely one of the best items I’ve purchased in a long time. It goes together perfectly and easily. Once together it works perfectly. The slicer makes very thin slices that make great potato chips. The fine grater does exactly that. It grates cheese very well and the result is a fluffy pile of very finely grated cheese. The larger grater does its job as well. The lock/ unlock feature allows the grater to work without movement as the suction holds it fast to the surface. Don’t hesitate. If you need a great little slicer/grater that doesn’t take up a lot of room and does a mighty fine job. Buy this one!

I use my cheese grater almost every day, and it is easy to put together, easy to take apart, easy to clean, easy to use. I used to buy shredded cheese, but found out about the cellulous added so the cheese does not stick together. This little machine does everything I ask it to do, and does not take a lot of time. In 90 seconds, I can open a block of cheese, cut a portion off, set up the grater, grate the cheese I need, and enjoy the freshly grated cheese on eggs, mac n cheese, baked potato, and many other foods. LOVE IT, BUY IT.

This is a great product. It can handle a lot of cheese at a time into the grater at the top. This attaches with a very solid purchase to a granite countertop and doesn’t move during use. The suction is strong. The crank turns easy and fundamentally - in operational terms - this is a simple machine that works as advertised. Kids can use it without issue. The main drawback of this (and all similar graters of this nature) is that one has to clean it after each use. This can be a chore as opposed simply using pre-grated cheese from the grocery store. That said - the trade off is that blocks of cheese are cheaper. So one has to decide if this trade off is worth it. A major plus to this particular grater is that the parts are dishwasher safe and have held up to that treatment by me for 6 months. The color is nice and it fits into a variety of kitchen colors.

I’ve been using freshly grated cheese for pizzas for a while instead of buying the pre-grated cheese, but I’d never built up my forearm stamina for the manual cheese grating to not be a pain. Decided to give this grater a try and couldn’t be happier. Easy to use and just as easy to clean. I wondered how well the suction cup would work on the counter top, but it definitely isn’t going anywhere on granite after you turn the lock knob. In fact even after unlocking it still holds on pretty tight which is more preferable than it not holding on strong enough. The opening is big enough for smaller blocks of cheese, but for larger ones will need to be cut into smaller chunks. It doesn’t require a significant amount of force to push the cheese into the grating mechanism to get good results, but my 17 year old daughter wasn’t using enough pressure to push the cheese into the grating mechanism when she first tried so if the cheese is grating into tiny granules the amount of force likely needs to be increased. One trick I had learned for grating softer cheeses like mozzarella is to put it in the freezer for 30 minutes or so before grating. Using this method the grater did a wonderful job. I never tried it without pre-cooling mozzarella so it may work fine without that. Cheddar cheese works great with no pre-prep. Finally, the cheese grates really quickly, quicker than gravity can allow it to fall out of the grater so you may have to reach in and pull it out to avoid it pressing the shredded cheese back together in grating tube, but that is a very minor item. The price was very reasonable and if you consistently buy pre-grated cheese this will definitely pay for itself over time and with very little extra work you can get all the benefits of freshly grated cheese.

I feel like this cheese grater is an excellent value. I’ve been using it for many months now. I no longer buy pre-shredded cheese. I don’t care for those extra preservatives, and that potato starch. This product is very good quality. With one turn, you can suction it up to any flat surface. It will not move. The greater quality is terrific and I can shred a pound of cheese in under one minute. Easy to clean we throw everything in the dishwasher. There has not been any rusting. It also comes with a slicing attachment. All of it works great.

Seems reasonably sturdy, easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. Holds firmly to any smooth surface. Grates hard cheese very well, and also potatoes for making hash browns. Much better than scraping your knuckles on a box grater. Haven't tried the slicer yet, but imagine it would work OK for making vegetable slices as long as you like the fixed thickness of the cutter.
