This silver-colored filament has been a great choice for our 3D printing projects. It’s not our first time buying it, and we’ll definitely keep coming back for more. I've used Geeetech glow in the dark PLA in the past but had not tried any of their silk PLAs yet. Pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to print with it. Printed a temperature tower and it seems like this filament is quite versatile. Looks pretty good at all levels from 210-235. I didn't get any stringing either. So far so good from a quality brand of filament.

I bought a roll of this silk silver pla last year and I liked it better than hatchbox's offering of silk silver, this one was brighter and looked more metallic than hatchbox, however, I ordered it again this year when I was printing a big item for a friend and I ran out 90% through the print, and even though I got the same sku on Amazon the silver color this time was slightly different, a bit duller (see attached picture) Not a huge problem as my friend didn't mind it but me being a perfectionist was slightly disappointed. Otherwise the pla prints well, doesn't warp, no stringing and filament thickness is consistent.

No complaints at all with this filament! Looks amazing and I've enjoyed what colors show up on my prints so far. If you want to have colors transition faster, try to add more to the build plate so each layer uses more filament.

This purple pla has an almost silk appearance without being overly shiny. It seems to like printing around 210 and has very little stringing compared to other brands. The spool is well constructed and smooth to work well in ams or mmu systems, and the price is competitive with other popular brands. Have had good experiences with Geeetech and will buy again when the need arises.

Love this gold filament! Made for an easy and smooth print! Just made this little gold picture frame keychain for my daughter that she wants to put on her backpack. She wants to put her and her favorite dog. For now my flower drawing is a placeholder. Highly recommend this gold filament. Lots of prints to come!

Play Video I was printing some parts I've always done with regular color PLA and the ones with the Silk material are much more prone to breaking, removing the parts from the print sheet I was able to damage already between 1-2 parts for every 50 unit batch I took. This is really not because of misuse, I'm afraid to test bend the parts because they break much more easily compared to other materials. Other than that, being careful about the forces applied to the parts, they look really nice, shiny and smooth, the material is good but I'm just afraid of brittleness

There are no air pockets that cause the pen to flow unevenly or cause a break in the flow.

The purple is not even close to the picture. It’s closer to the mauve/lavender range. Very rigid filament. ☹️

Das Filament ist sauber gewickelt, keine Verwicklungen, kein Chaos – genau so muss es sein! Inkl. Feuchtigkeit granulat. Der erste Druck? Ein Traum! Das Filament fließt butterweich durch die Düse, die Layer haften perfekt aneinander, und das Ergebnis: eine tiefschwarze, matte Oberfläche, die einfach edel aussieht. Keine Fäden, keine Blasen – einfach ein perfekter Druck. Ich habe es auf mehreren Druckern getestet, mit 200°C Hotend und 60°C Heizbett, und jedes Mal gab es fehlerfreie, gestochen scharfe Ergebnisse. Selbst feine Details und Überhänge meistert dieses PLA spielend. Fazit: Wer ein zuverlässiges, hochwertiges Filament mit intensiver schwarzer Farbe sucht, wird hier fündig. Ich bin begeistert und werde definitiv wieder bestellen. Klare Empfehlung!

Fino ad ora il miglior filamento Silk Gold che ho provato. Bel colore, bella resa dell'effetto dorato e stampe pulitissime. È necessario impostare bene le temperature ed i flussi.
