I love this little not so little washing machine. I did not hook it up to the water supply. My faucet did not work with the connectors. A shower with a long hose or buckets will do. Easy to move great stability & cleans like the larger versions. For one or two people it is perfect & adorable. I looked at all of them. This brand is the best.

Being broke and in a situation where I am constantly living in apartments my only option had been hand wash or go to a laundromat. I do not have transportation so a laundromat was always dependent on whether or not I had enough money to spend on a cab plus the amount to get things washed and dried in the machines. I saved up for this little guy, and it has been amazing. It is just a washer so I have to air dry my clothes after, but it does such a good job. It is small so the loads need to be decently split up for larger items. It also can't handle big comforters/blankets. I didn't much like the hose, and would probably have to get one that would fit onto my faucet, but honestly you could just use a bucket. I fill the water up and run the wash cycle twice once with soap, once for the rinse, and than do a spin cycle. Being I fill the machine manually the short rinse cycle seems very wasteful and time consuming. Maybe this is blasphemy, but it cleans and rinses perfect. My clothes aren't super dirty so maybe if they were I would soak or run it through another time. It is so much better than hand washing, and it has been about 2 years since purchase. If and when it fails I will probably edit to note how it failed but it is still perfect.

For the money and the size, it is a great little machine. I have been using for a month now, and so far so good. Our community's laundry room is quite a distance away, so having an at-home option is great. We still use those large machines in the common laundry for large items, but the Giantex Portable Compact purchased as been great for laundering the more frequently used smaller laundry items (socks, pajamas, T-shirts, etc). It is quiet (doesn't vibrate like some front loads can), convenient, and does a good job on the laundry. Everything hooked right up to my kitchen sink (I have a Moen single lever goose neck faucet with removable aerator - and once the removable inner washer was removed from the threaded screw-on connection nozzle that was supplied with the washer (it was attached to the white hose when the washer was unboxed), ...it hooked up fine. (we went to the local hardware store with the connection nozzle and the faucet's aerator thinking we had to buy something, but the man at the hardware store showed us that all we needed to do was remove the little inner black rubber washer from the manufacturer's supplied part to reveal those inside threads - they matched up perfectly with our faucet's connections threads.) The previous Amazon reviews and suggestions were very helpful prior to my purchase, ...so perhaps some suggestions might be: don't leave the drain hose unattended or unsecured while in use (can change direction when draining if not secure). Lay a hand towel over the disconnect when taking the washer water supply hose off of kitchen faucet (still has pressure, can splash water). Then drain the 2 hoses downward into a bucket or trash can to collect any leftover water in lines before stowing. And, use a hand towel around white hose disconnect located on the top of the washer before removing - to catch any leftover water there. All in all, this is a very good little machine - it save trips to the common laundry. I teamed mine up with an (expensive) 110 heat pump/ventless clothes dryer. This machine has been a great, quiet, affordable, fit-into-small-space (undercounter) option for laundry.

Play Video I could hear water water sloshing around in the machine when it arrived and I brought it inside- the machine comes with a nice little water damaged packing slip that says the liquid is from quality control testing- they're either lying and selling used returned machines as brand new, or they are not adequately draining the machines during said testing and delivering customers brand new machines with musty moldy factory water in them. Neither is really acceptable. The lid was janky and defective right out the box- It would not open/close appropriately or consistently because it did not sit properly on its plastic hinge pin. Even when manually popped back into place it would just pop back off when attempting to close the lid on the machine. I've gone through two other portable washers and had to throw them out after this part of the machine broke, as it is basically impossible to fix, and the machine ceases to function once it goes (there's a tension strap attached to the lid which prevents the machine from running when the lid is open- when the hinge breaks there is permanent slack on the strap and the machine wont run). I'm sure it's a lovely machine if you can get one that was put together and tested appropriately, but this thing had too many problems right out of the box for the price point it is offered at for me to trust the brand. Not going to waste my time with something that can't do the bare minimum out of the box and already has end of life symptoms before I even unwrapped it.

If you have a small space and want to keep your clothes clean without having to dish out a couple bucks and go down to your laundry facilities, this is the way to do it. It works really well, can clean a good amount of clothes at once and wrings out the wet clothes pretty well so hanging them for a couple hours is enough to make them dry. Highly recommend.

I've had this washing machine for more than 2 years now and it still works perfectly. I never had a single issue with it and it cleans my clothes better than my mom's full size machine. It's perfect for my small apartment, size I don't have a dedicated laundry space. I store it in the shower when I don't use it (or the shower, obviously). It's just light enough to be transportable from room to room if needed and it has 2 convenient handles on the sides. I calculated that it paid itself in the first 11 months with the savings on laundromat. However, I think it's important to address a few things, since reading the other reviews (especially the 1 star ones) I noticed that some people don't understand some very obvious things about this machine. 1. It's a small washing machine. It's not meant to replace a full size machine. That means you shouldn't overfill it with a full load of clothes. On the high water level, it will wash 1 pair of pants and 3 shirts or 5 shirts or 2-3 pairs of pants. Anything more than that and it will either not clean well, spill over or break the spinner. It's too small for my full (double) bed duvet, but I can wash everything else, including my towels, blanket and sheets. It has a lint/hair collector on the side of the drum that works so well I wonder why full size machine don't have one! If you have the space and budget for a full size machine, buy a full size machine! However, for the size and price, you can't beat this one! 2. Contrary to what some say, it does not require any "installation". You just need to remove the black plastic piece at the bottom and packing foam, as it's just a stabilizer for shipping. Mine came with a notice telling me about it, but it seems that no everyone received one (or they discarded it without reading it). 3. Yes it's true, the water intake hose that comes with it will not fit on all western style faucets, but it's an Asian product designed primarily for the Asian market, so that's not too surprising. It does fit perfectly on my kitchen faucet after removing the aerator, but it doesn't fit on my bathroom faucet. You can to buy an adaptor if it doesn't fit. You can find them online, but it's best to bring the hose and the faucet aerator to a hardware store to find an adaptor that is compatible with both sides. Alternatively, it will fit on a gardening hose or you can just use a hand shower to fill it manually, like I do. 4. Some have said that the company doesn't sell replacement parts, which is true, but most of the parts are generic and commonly available online from different suppliers. I never needed to replace any, but I searched and easily found the belt, the motor, the pump and the inlet solenoid. 5. No, it doesn't dry the clothes, but it spins them fast enough that they are just damp and dry quickly on a clothesline or rack. I have no clue why so many people are confused and claiming it is falsely advertising that is dries clothes. There is nothing of the sort in the description! It even says "Please note: It can only do 80% spinning drying." I'm on the Canadian version of Amazon, so maybe it's different elsewhere... 6. Yes, the front yellow sticker is a pain to remove, but using a hairdryer on the warmest setting and a razor blade, it becomes much easier! 7. Some complained that it overflowed, but they either did something wrong (like filling it without pressing start) or they had a defective unit, because it has an automatic overfill sensor and will drain out if the water level is too high. I tested it and it drains faster than I can fill it! 8. Do not use hot water in it as it is not designed to resist high temperature. That being said, you can use up to 50C (122F) warm water, but it washes really well with just cold or lukewarm water! 9. Do not use too much soap or it will bubble over, as the agitation is quite vigorous! I use a quarter of what's recommended for a full load when filling it to the highest setting and it works fine. 10. No, it is not silent, but it isn't super loud either. When I close the bathroom door, I can just barely ear it. 11. Yes, it's build with plastic, but it's sturdy enough that unless you beat on it, it will not break. It has to be plastic, otherwise it would be too heavy to be portable.

This little machine is perfect and makes life a little easier especially living with a family that has small children. I wish the drum size was bigger to take a big load and cut down on the timing to wash etc. Therefore, I love and would recommend it to others. Follows the instructions and everything will be fine. Upon inspection when it came , inside the drum on one side ; there was some brown liquid that dried up but I notice that it has somewhat disappeared as I used the washer. The noise level is really good, not loud but quiet. When moving this machine around, it is not heavy and it doesnât have wheels. But it easy to manoeuvre; but it will be better to get a dolly to move it around depending on where you are keeping it. The performance of the spinner is really good and clothes comes out clean. Ad the durability is great!!

Play Video It's very quiet, little to no shaking when properly leveled and holds a decent amount in it. This video shown is of the first load I did. The load had 2 pairs of socks, a pair of pants and 2 shirts, I think I could have put at least one of my hoodies in it as well, that's a respectable amount! No issues with assembly, there is a plastic plate that you screw to the bottom- you'll need your own screwdriver. My plate holes did not fully align, there's 2 that never matched up, however I screwed the rest in firmly and there is no rattling so no issue as far as I'm concerned. The provided adaptor did not fit, as expected after reading other reviews here, so I had to fill it by hand with a pot and keep an eye on it during spin/drain to give it more water when needed - it drones when it's trying to draw water and not getting any. Tedious for sure, I will find an adaptor that works before that drives me crazy. You can see the height of the drain vs. my sink and I found it to be too high, there was water pooling in the pipe when all was said and done and that was a watery lesson for me when I went to put it away. I think I will either find or make a suitable tray on wheels to give it the height it needs and eliminate that issue. If you have to fill it by hand, it won't start washing/spinning until it detects there's enough water in it. I was worried about overfilling it but it will start up and let you know. I am currently very satisfied, I normally pay $30 or more per month on laundry in this building so this will pay for itself very fast if it lasts. I will absolutely come back here to report if anything happens or in a few months to confirm my satisfaction, we shall see. *just coming back after a few days to point out that the washer to sink adaptor did actually work. Inside the larger opening to the adaptor is a foam band, you can remove that to reveal threads on the inside, which I did not know were there (thanks boyfriend!) and it fit on my sink just fine.
