I hadn’t tried a Pixel phone since the Pixel 2 XL, which was one of my all time favorite devices. I decided to stick to Apple’s ecosystem since then, just for simplicity sake, since the rest of our family all use iPhones. I decided to bite the bullet and dip my toe back in the Android world with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and I have to say, I could not be happier with the decision. Battery life has been phenomenal and I’ve not hit the end of a day where I was lower than 60% left. That’s with a fairly extensive use of the device, including video watching, replying to emails, using navigation, and some casual browsing. I don’t really do much game playing so I can’t speak to that. Phone quality has felt fantastic. I’ve no complaints what so ever on how the device feels in the hand, or behaves. The OS feels buttery smooth and the hardware is just delightful to use. All of the screens are very good, but being a foldable, it’s really all about that interior display, and I’ve been thoroughly pleased with it. There is a slight crease where the phone folds but you honestly don’t notice it when you’re using the device. Just if the light hits it just right or you’re dragging something with your finger across the length of it. But that’s true of all foldable. Durability seems good, although it’s early days. I’d highly recommend a case that protects the hinge because I’ve been reading a few reports online of folks getting small rocks or even sand trapped in the hinge or inner display and it causing problems. No surprises there really, I’d expect that to be a risk. The face unlock works pretty well, except in low light conditions. But the fingerprint reader works flawlessly so, unlike my iPhone, I’m not forced to immediately resort to a PIN. Also, if you pair this with a Pixel Watch 3, the watch can act like you’re biometric unlock, so you almost never need to deal with any of that anyway. Great stuff!

Great foldable phone! Google did good. Not going back to a regular slab phone. Front display look and function as a regular phone. I suggest to get a case with hinge protection and get some insurance to protect this investment. Battery life is good. I don't game much though. Speed is fast. The phone quality feels premium.

The phone is amazing. It did not come unlocked to any carrier as specified. It arrived tied to TMobile, so I could not set up my phone without going to a TMobile store first. That was annoying. Other than that, phone is great.

Just got the phone 2 days ago and it was a big upgrade from my S22 software is nice os is simple and the inner display is big and birght been playing games and watching tv on it. Only con i can think of is after 40 mins of gaming starts to lag a tiny bit but it is not as bad as people say. Overall would recommend!!

This product is nowhere near worth the value. The folding phone where the software has not been figured out yet. The camera quality out of the box was not great. Had to do a lot of changes in settings. I like the phone. I like the concept. I like the folding screen. The bigger screen is what I bought it for, but if the phone doesn't work half the time it becomes more of a frustration than an enjoyment. I missed a return by 30 days unfortunately. I was hoping maybe I needed to update it or figure it out but it's not me. It's you. These kind of phones will be cool when the software is figured out, but right now the speed the weight the feel is not where it needs to be. This phone cost me $1,950 in total plus the cover and I want my money back. I could have bought a $300 phone that worked 90% of the time. Instead I have a phone that I'm I'm in the moment I'm needing to get on the device and it's just not working. It's not open but the inside screen's on or it is open and no screens on or the outside screen is on. It's like the phone is n't working when I needed it to work. Where is the speed? It's like a cheap trick that cost 2,000 bucks.

This is the greatest phone ever made so far! Its like having a Computer in your hands when you open the big screen! The Price is high but if you really want to invest in a good phone! save up for this one! The camera on this phone is 10x better then my old iPhone. This phone is the reason why I left Apple!

Review for just the hardware is about a 4. Overall package, including the purchase and return process was a 1. The phone is sleek and beautiful and I’m sure anyone who is seriously interested in this phone has gone into a brick and mortar to physically check it out. Without a case, it’s a bit of a challenge prying it open and a bit worrisome because it’s so slippery. It also hurts paying such a steep price for a phone that does not use the entire screen real estate for so many things. And for some reason, when using YouTube and/or YouTube music, it always wants to connect to your television. I did a deep dive and could not find anyway to stop this from happening. As far as the return process, don’t expect it to be speedy by any stretch of imagination. Amazon will hold onto your funds for as long as it is legally possible. On the flipside, Amazon will not charge you a restocking fee like Best Buy or from your carrier so I guess you have to weigh out the benefits from either method. Overall, I just did not feel delighted enough with the problems that came with the phone for the price, even when on sale. Lastly, if you make this expensive investment, you’ll want to get a case for this phone or you’ll constantly be worried about it slipping out of your hands just trying to open it.

Hello Buyer, I recently purchased the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Fold. Both phones delivered excellent performance with no lag at all. However, the charging experience with both devices was disappointing. Neither phone included a charging brick, only the cable, which made finding a compatible charger a challenge. Google phones don’t support most third-party fast chargers, and only Google’s proprietary charger works effectively. This limitation was frustrating, as the phones often charged at a very slow rate. Ultimately, I decided to return both phones and instead opted for the Honor Magic V3 Fold. This phone not only supports fast charging but also features the thinnest borders when folded, making it a superior choice in my opinion.

Even on sale this phone is still very expensive, but I decided to treat myself. I have eyesight limitations which make reading a small screen problematic and some Apps don't allow for enlargement. The larger screen works great in most circumstances. The phone has all the features I wanted like wireless charging, 5G and a high end camera system. Migration of Apps and data from my old Samsung was very easy and even the SIM card transfers digitally. The only thing I didn't like was the very slippery feel of the phone in my hands. It takes a bit of dexterity to open the fold feature without the phone slipping through the fingers. This made me worry about dropping it especially when using the camera. I invested in a genuine leather case by Torro which makes the phone bulkier, but also makes it feel much more secure in my hands. I highly recommend the case as well.

I honestly love this phone. I use the split screen a lot with my job so it's perfect! The battery life is good too. Really, the only thing that I dislike, is the price. I don't understand why there's that big of a gap between the 9 pro and the fold. I bought it during the Black Friday so I saved a lot but still...At retail, it's getting absurd. But, like I said, I really love it.
