I originally purchased these lights to place behind my TV in the living room but quickly realized after setting them up they can be practical in almost any location you need to add a little accent lighting. I tried them out for a couple of months before purchasing them for a second time. In those months I found that they have great connectivity through my network and my Alexa. The setup was easy but the device (in the app) is a little difficult to understand at first, which I found surprising because I have other Govee products and the devices are easy to control within the same app. The lights are easy to add to Alexa and either create or update your routines for easy voice control. The product comes with a mount you can stick to the back of your TV or any other surface you plan to use it on. The product also comes with a stand so you can place it upright on a table or desk which may be convenient for some people. The brightness and color options are great for any purpose you may have. The one thing you may want to be aware of is the length of the wire. Be cautious and make sure the wire is long enough for the purpose you're using them for. Overall these lights are a great addition to the lighting in my home, I believe you'll agree.

These are great lights for the money especially if you get them on sale. I have two sets - one as backlighting for my computer monitors (one stuck vertically to the back of each monitor), and the other is on top of a desk shelf to illuminate the wall behind me. They are easy to set up and configure the lighting scheme. The vertical stand isn't really heavy, so if you're trying to position the lights a certain angle, the "weight" of the cord can pull it out of orientation. The adhesives on the mounts are pretty strong. I'll probably look for bigger / brighter lights in the future but know I'll pay more for them, so these are great to start.

I don't have too much to add that hasn't already been mentioned. Setup was very simple, the app offers excellent control with plenty of customization, and the lights can go as bright or as dim as you'd like. I have mine set up behind a 32" curved monitor and the adhesive mounts work perfectly. Worth mentioning, these are not compatible with the Corsair iCue system, but the control panel is easy to use and this wasn't a deal-breaker for me. The cables aren't too long so you won't be installing these too far from a power outlet. I also like the Google Home feature so I can just tell them to turn on with my pre-loaded settings. Weather I'm working on some new designs or gaming, these have really enhanced my workspace. I'll probably buy another set and put them to good use. For the price, these are a solid choice.

Não tenho Alexa nem Google Assistiant, mas controlo pelo app da Govee. Dá um tchan sim pra ver TV no escuro, tem umas opções estáticas e umas que ficam parecendo balada. Fiquei uns 15 minutos configurando um modo pra ver Batman (muito customizável) e deu uma enriquecida na experiência. Tranquilo de usar, tudo nos conformes.

I actually had the led strips from Govee before this, the one with dynamic lighting. I 100% prefer these even though they dont have dynamic lighting i believe. I wasn't crazy about dynamic lighting anyways as the color changing and flashing can be quite hard on the aging eyes sometimes. The led strips were good, but man these lights are just pure quality. First off it has white lights, which the led strips dont have(closest to white you'll get is pale blue or pale yellow), and find these just luminate so much more. Was easy to install, just plug and play, and software setup is easy.
