Just fill with water and select your ice size preference. Easy as that. Seat it about an hour before you need a batch of ice and you’re good to go. The ice compartment isn’t cold enough to keep the ice, so it just melts back down and remakes. But if you’re using the ice, no harm there. It will beep saying it’s full, so you just have to adjust the pile of ice and it will clear and continue. Very happy with it so far. You can also connect it to the Govee app and control it from there, but I don’t really use that feature much.

Love this ice machine! Needed to replace old ice maker and this works even better. Safely shipped, easy to clean, no leaks, minimal sound, and makes cubes quickly!

So far I’m loving this ice machine; love the speed, love that it sends me notifications on my Apple Watch and iPhone, I have hooked it up to Alex but haven’t tried it yet. People will complain about the ice not staying cold but all of these machines clearly state they don’t refrigerate the ice will melt and be re-made into new ice. My issue is that once it’s starting to fill with ice some ice will gather at the sensor that tells the machine it’s filled with ice, but then you just push the ice to the back and you get ton more ice. So seems like the ice tray needed more pitch for ice to head towards the front to fix that issue. Other than that love the machine and it stopped my wife yelling at me that I use up all the ice in our fridge ice maker when I leave for work and the kids have none for school, now I just make a full batch of ice and put it in freezer ziplock bag and I’m set for days!!!

This is a great small, countertop ice maker. Pros: 1) Small and compact. Fits anywhere. 2) Makes ice, very quick. Turn it on and within five to six minutes you have your first ice cubes. 3) Can be operated remotely. a) Turn it on/off, b) Change the ice size c) Schedule when it operates. d) It will message you for the following: ice maker is full of ice, Low water, It needs cleaning. One note on this one, if you do not clean it when it asked, the ice maker WILL start messaging you, that it has been a while since you cleaned the ice maker. I really like this feather, it keeps you aware of keeping the ice maker clean. No one wants to have dirty, fowl tasting ice in their drinks. d) Turn on cleaning. The only con, which I will not reduce my rating is: The drain plug is small and on the bottom of the Ice maker. It is recessed where it is not easy to get to. So instead of pulling the drain plug, I just pick it up and dump it. It does not weigh that much, even when full of cleaner. In reality, it is easier to just dump it than to pull the plug and wait for it do drain out that tiny drain hole. I do clean mine at least one a week. Put cleaner in it. I run it on clean a few times. Dump it and run clean using clean water a few times, dumping it between the runs. I do not want to taste cleaner in my ice. Would I buy it again. Yes. It is a very nice looking, small and quickly working ice maker. I could not be happier.

Best thing I have ever, ever bought. I wish I had 2 of them. No more halling huge, expensive, bags of ice from the supermarket. I chew ice. I have cracked 3 teeth, lost 2. This soft chewable ice can be selected Big, Medium or Little. Soft, chewy, delicious, ice. It's quick, self cleaning, Phone Application. Buy 5. Love, Love, Love. Oh, sounds like frig running. The dropping of batches of ice can be heard dropping into the tray, but that music to the ears. It beeps when it's full and needs emptying, and also when it's thirsty and needs more water.👍

This is by far one of the best ice makers we’ve had so far. The smart feature makes it extremely easy to operate. We offen set it while away from home and when we arrive, ice is fresh and ready to use.

I've had this icemaker for about two months now after getting tired of dealing with ice cube trays in the freezer. A countertop icemaker seemed like a quick and convenient way to make sure my drinks were cold in the hot summer months. It does function well but I can't say I'm 100% satisfied with it. To cover the good points first it's a small and compact machine, and should fit comfortably on any counter space. It's reasonably quiet and makes ice at a fast pace with a new batch dropping every 10 minutes or so. There are three available ice cube sizes to choose from. Keep in mind this is not a freezer unit, so it makes the ice and the ice then sits in a basket and slowly melts down with the water running into the tank below and the whole process starts over again. This is "soft" ice so it definitely doesn't last long and will dissolve in water pretty quickly. The machine stops automatically once the ice basket is full and will give you a warning when the water is running low. It has a nice self cleaning option where you just need to add a mixture of water and vinegar and it'll do it all automatically On the bad side, if you're planning on getting this for parties or a larger family, it probably won't keep up with the demand even with the quick 10 minute turn around - the ice melts too quickly and in my house with just two adults we find ourselves constantly emptying the basket especially on the hotter days, then waiting around for the next batch. The machine also has an irritating habit of automatically stopping and giving my an "add water" warning, but when I check it still has water in it. I'm not talking just a tiny bit in the bottom of the tank either - it's still a good 1/4 to 1/3 full yet the machine flat out refuses to make any more ice until I fill the tank back to the top again. It's very annoying to have to keep topping it up and restricts the flow of ice even more! Overall I can't say I would recommend this. It does work, but it's not as efficient as I had hoped. If I could do it again, I'd look at some larger, more expensive models, and pay the extra. It's worth a look if you are on a budget and don't need much ice though
