I had a call in to the plumber to clear a clogged toilet when I ordered this. I used the whole bottle and let it sit overnight. In the morning, the toilet was entirely clear. I think that the plumber was relieved not to have to unclog a toilet. No smell, no mess. Excellent product.

It actually unclogged the drain and it was working deep down in the pipes. First bottle used it twice and was still clogged even though I followed the instructions. Second bottle was working fine until I did the second poor and the water was raising from the drain. At first I thought it backfired but gave it some time and saw all that black stuff came out. The tub was half way full and all went back down. Had the HOT water run for a few minutes to rinse the pipes out.

Review based on use in toilet. Had planned to use second bottle in drains as a preventative, but will be using bottle number two in toilet tonight. This is for a slow draon toilet, not a clogged one. Sometimes flushed fine, other times not. So thought this might do it. Followed directions, let sit overnight. Flushed fine the first couple flushes, which was normal pre-treatment. Then just back to slow draining or not flushing at all. Might end up having to call plumber if the second bottle doesn't do it. I'll redo my rating if I have to go that route, as it means it was bad enough I should have started with a plumber. UPDATE: after using the second bottle, the toilet did finally drain. So I'm going to at least give it a 4 star. Still calling in a plumber but think the issue is beyond a product like this.

I love this stuff... works GREAT... this time it did nOT-- but there must be another problem. Every time i've used it- it's almost instantly clear in the drain-- this time- must be something a bit more solid. There are products stronger-- but they aren't good for the pipes OR the septic tank, and that's thet's the last thing I need right now.

I feel I really need to leave a review. This was recommended to me by a friend. Even though the reviews are overwhelmingly positive on here, and I so so so hoped that this would work for us, too. IT DID NOT AND IT MADE THINGS WORSE. I followed instructions, so the failure was not a result of that. Instead of a slow draining bathroom sink and bathtub, we got a COMPLETELY CLOGGED bathroom sink and bathtub. Two nights ago I was able to declog the sink. I scooped water out from the sink, filled hot water in the sink, plunged, scooped out water again, filled with hot water, plunged, repeat and repeat and repeat - I don't know how many times but finally got it to flow. Our sink now flows nicely (okay, maybe the Green Gobbler did help clean the drain pipe a little? But it should NOT have COMPLETELY CLOGGED the drain in the first place, that just does not make any sense). So now I'm at it with the bathtub, which, again, is completely clogged after using the Green Gobbler. I cannot understand why so many reviews had such fantastic/miraculous results with this, but ours is completely the opposite..... This is an updated review. I upped the one start to three. Okay, so this is what I think.... If you have a slow slow draining sink. Do NOT leave Green Gobbler in your drain pipes for too long. Just flush after 15 mins. I think the longer it's left in, it will be at work too long and actually clog up the pipes completely (for some). I think it's "safer" to just repeat the treatment a few times. I plunged both my bathroom sink and bathtub like there's no tomorrow (I'm not exaggerating, I should have videoed it), and they are draining now. The tub is not 100% but it is better than before. So, if you used the Green Gobbler, and it actually completely clogged up your drain, this is what I did to get the sink and tub flowing again (disclaimer, I'm only sharing what I did in the hope to help, if you get burned by boiling water or Green Gobbler gets splashed on you or something, it is not my fault, do this at your own risk with proper protective gear, gloves, glasses/goggles, etc etc) - First, scoop out the water that's just standing in the sink/tub. Do nothing for a day for like 24 hours (really, I just left it like that, with the Green Gobbler supposedly in the drain pipe). Then the next day, pour in boiling hot water. Plunge (super careful so you don't get burned. For me, when I plunged, I could tell the water being sucked up had the Green Gobbler, because it was all bubbly like suds, so I know GG was in the pipe). Scoop nasty water out. Pour boiling water down again, plunge, scoop. Repeat and repeat and repeat. Take breaks in between of course. *When I plunged, I also cleaned out the gross stuff so they don't go back down the drain. I know one can just say uh this is stupid, you are just plunging like anyone. But I just wanted to share my experience in case if someone really want to give it a shot instead of calling a plumber right away. I honestly think the key is boiling water and letting the GG just sit in the pipe for a looooooong time. And I changed my rating because I do notice both drains drain better now, I do believe that GG did clean the pipes a bit despite "causing" the initial complete clog (for the sink I know the clog was further down the pipe, because I had cleaned the trap and the area that I could reach with a manual snake).... Anyway, that's my two cents! Hope you will not have to go plunge crazy like me, but at least give it a shot if you are not afraid to get a bit dirty and flex some muscles!

Used one bottle to unplug sewer line that was plugged affecting two bathrooms, showers, toilets, etc. After I let it sit 24 hours, it wasn't working 100 percent but after leaving for 4 days, line was CC completely in you unclogged and everything works great now. I definitely recommend this product.

When I flushed the toilet, I was getting a loud gurgling sound in my tub, it was getting worse. Someone said, for them, it was a vent problem in the bathroom, they cleaned out their vent and it was fixed. They looked at mine that had been cleaned out, it was not the problem. There was a definite clog. Then my toilet wouldn't flush and sewage started to come up through my toilet. I was in trouble. I used 1 side of the bottle down the tub, one side of the bottle for my bathroom sink as even though no issues with the sink, it may have been somehow connected in the pipes, and I used 1 whole bottle (both sides) in the toilet. Overnight. Within about 1/2 hour of pouring solution tho, I could see the drain in the tub releasing the sewage down the drain which is good. in the morning, there was less water in the toilet, also, I had dished out some of the water into the tub as the tub was already with contents. So I flushed a bucket of hot water from the running taps down the front of the toilet, which allowed it to drain inwards, down, then flushed, still clogged, ran water in the tub 5 mins and sink 5 mins and went back to the toilet and repeated bucket of hot tap water down front, it went inwards and down, plunged, flushed, worked. Thank you Green Gobler for your roll in saving me hundreds in plumbing fees. worth it. bought some more.

I had a clogged shower drain and had tried a couple of products with no luck. This promised results and is environmentally friendly. After 2 applications no luck so I had to resort to Mr Muscle.
