I'm picky when it comes to mens smells, and this is just right. It's not super powerful and it'll last you all day. The quality of the fragrance is fantastic, it's definitely masculine, the size of the bottle is good too. It's a good price for the size and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I used to love wearing the original black bottle of drakkar. And if you love the original, you would love the intense. It smells like the original but sweeter and more intense. Next time I will buy the two pack , intense and original. And such a great price for such a great smelling cologne. This can be an everyday wear for the price. Save your other stuff for special occasions. But this stuff smells good enough to even be the special occasion type cologne. It's pretty dang good.

Long lasting

I was initially disappointed with Drakkar Intense because I was expecting something reminiscent of the original Drakkar Noir. It’s definitely not like the classic, and at first, that threw me off. But once I got over that, I started to really appreciate the scent. It’s subtle and not overpowering, with a clean, sophisticated vibe that grew on me. I even found that a quick spritz in my car works great as a freshener, leaving a pleasant and lasting scent on my seats. Overall, it’s a great fragrance that I’ve come to enjoy, even though it’s not what I was expecting.

I have been using Drakkar for years. I still like the scent. I thought I would try this version. No bueno.

I'm really surprised at the great smell and longevity of this cologne. It's kind of strong so take it easy on applying it. I don't understand the negative reviews and I'm guessing something went wrong in manufacturing of their lot. Things happen. I'll surely purchase this again.

Though I never knew the scent of which this was a flanker of, when I tested Drakkar Noir at a store, I could definitely say I like Intense better. Some would say it's a modern take on that one, but I don't think I want to think of Drakkar Intense that way. It feels like a brand new scent, very distinguishable from other common perfumes. It's definitely an adult cologne but not an old man's cologne - like best for a 25-50yo. I would describe this as an overall sweet, woody, and spicy scent. The clary sage and vanilla mix well with the common and well-received bergamot and patchouli to create its own signature mark. This was a blind buy for me; I was looking for something with cinnamon and vanilla-like notes and this did not disappoint. I can't say so much about the sillage yet but it has average longevity and I can smell it on myself for a few hours though the intensity drops rather quickly. The opening smell isn't that different from the drydown. This could be both an office cologne or a socialization one. Versatile, moderate power, and not to disruptive. Also specifically a fall-winter scent. I love it and I'm wearing it often now for the colder months of the year!
