Useful for guiding in dark spaces. Broad beam plus precise narrow beam AND strobe options. Durable and compact. Predecessor model was excellent. This iteration is even better.

The appeal here is more than just the flashlights. There's a lot here for $25. In addition to the FOUR flashlights you get a solid carrying case with mesh netting AND four individual pouches to carry the lights on your belt with. The case and pouches are all nice solid construction too. Good material. Sturdy stitching. The case is plastic with nylon covering adhered tightly to it. Sturdy zipper opens and closes smoothly and secures the case nicely. It's small and compact and thus easily portable - good for slipping into a desk, trunk or glove compartment. Lightweight yet sturdy. And the mesh netting inside keeps the lights from clinking together during travel. It even comes with four packs of two batteries each (even though the lights take 3 batteries each, but whatev). The lights themselves are solid and dependable. Standard solid light, strobe, and SOS. Ample illumination for basic needs. No variable brightness but you can adjust the breadth of the beam. Changing batteries is made easy via a handy removeable clip they nestle into that inserts nicely into the light. Flashlights are solid, lightweight and feel like they can survive a drop or two. The flashlights are good enough on their own but with this package you get so much more.

These arrived on time as described. I bought them for camping. One was perfect! Nice and bright to walk on wooded path but the 2nd one we couldn't get to work at all. No time to return so just threw the 2nd one away and bought another from Walmart. Very disappointing since the one flash light works great! It is sturdy and the batteries were still strong after the 4 nights of camping. The size was perfect to stick in your pocket or put in the bags on cots. It is also great for adults and small kids! Update: I have updated my stars from 2 to 4. The company reached out to me apologizing for the factory inspection and told me they were reimbursing half my money for the one that didn't work! It is rare a company will do this at a time when it seems they are out for your money and don't care about the customer. This company puts,out a great product for the price and they obviously stand behind their product and care! Would definitely buy from this seller again!

This is a very powerful flashlight. The zoom feature is great. We use them camping. Ordering more for each vehicle in case of emergency's and for the house. The wide beam is very illuminating, like the zoom lens for night walks, in the camp area. There is a strobe type light that will come on when you go to switch off then on again. It startles you at first, but then you learn to switch it off right away to stop that. BUT that is a AWESOME feature if you were in trouble. It would be a great defense against anyone. I'm sure it's meant for safety on the highway, but I certainly wouldn't shine it at on coming traffic, just put it under a vehicle or flashing toward the side of the road only to make traffic aware. The flashlight is a good weight, and feels like it will last a long time. Nice size for anyone small or big to carry also.

I'm sure you know that this style small LED flashlight is sold under many brand names and at many prices. I really like these little lights, and ever since I bought the first ones several years ago have never been without two or three around the place. Most of these small lights use the same LED chip and are normally powered by three AAA batteries. Battery life is quite good, and the light is bright enough to be useful for just about any task. Perhaps the main advantage is their small size--you could literally carry one in your pocket if you wanted. Although you will find slightly different designs of the flashlight case, the units are similar enough to suspect that some major manufacturer cranks them out and many different distributors grab them and put their name on them. Although they originally just had the off/on push-button switch, most now incorporate multiple modes of flashing lights along with the steady flashlight beam. For my purposes, I would rather just have the on/off capability, but it's hard to find one with only that these days. The units have been pretty reliable--the aluminum body is sturdy, the battery case holds up, and the LED chip has not failed on any I've had. These particular Hausbell lights are my most recent purchase, and at 5 bucks apiece I consider them a bargain. I keep one in the house, the car, and my RV, and I've given them to the kids and grand kids. If you haven't bought any of this type light yet, give it a try. Buy the inexpensive ones since most of them at various prices seem to be essentially the same light. I think you'll find that they're really handy to have around.

The AAA batteries included were shor out, otherwise it passed the drop test and water immersion easily. Right for the price.
