These are dishwasher safe wich is good as I don't take care of knives like I should. These are great quality and look clean and sharp.

The knives are incredibly sharp and look great. The only reason for 4 stars is the 7 inch santoku knife came chipped, I submitted a claim with the warranty and will most definitely update once repaired/replaced

These knives are amazing. Top quality handles and blades, very sharp and well balanced. If you want these knives to last, you need to treat them good. Any knife will degrade over time with poor quality care some take longer than others. These are such a superior quality that they will take years to degrade if treated poorly but will last a lifetime if treated well. To treat well, wash once done with using them, don't let them sit in the sink with water or in the dishwasher. I always say careful hand washing and drying will extend the life of these knives. This is the second set of knives I have bought in my lifetime, I'm 56 and I got my first set when I moved out on my own over 25 years ago. They were not these knives but they were Henckles. My first set is still in my house and as beautiful as the day I bought them, but I wanted a new set and saw these for this price and had to get them. Top quality will last a life time.

I have had a couple knife sets over the years and these are amazing. Great weight and ergonomic feel to them. Super sharp. The steak knife’s feel great in your hand and cut the meat really well. Well made and good value. I highly recommend this set. I only wish the knife block was optional as I have a knife drawer with its a knife holder set up to keep my counter space freed up from having the knife block on it.
