I stumbled across this laptop while searching amazon. First, I was surprised at the price. I read the details and because there was a good return policy I decided to buy it. Second, when it arrived I thought it was brand new. Not a scratch or blemish on it. Third, I had a HP Z1 desktop at work with a solid state boot drive and I had forgotten how quickly this drive boots up. Very fast. Fourth, I work mainly in the Microsoft universe and I logged in and Windows 11 installed everything from my desktop to my laptop (I did have to download the apps to my laptop, but they appeared showing what I already had.). Updates were also fast and painless. Fifth, the build of the laptop is very solid and the display is beautiful. It is also very light and slim. Keyboard and trackpad also have a very good feel. The SSD is only 256GB and it doesn't come with a DVD drive. No big deal. Thanks to HP for not having a ton of bloatware. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a budget laptop that performs well and get the job done.

The laptop itself is great, it has good specs for the price and seems sturdy and light. Windows 11 is terrible, of course, but I immediately installed Linux and everything works great.

I now have 2 of these and they both worked well out of the box.Setup was pretty much automatic but it did take about 30 minutes to transfer all my info from my other laptop.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for myself in 2023. I don't use it often, I used it for taxes in April and I use to send longer emails than I want to type on my phone, but that's really about it, it's had very light use, I'd estimate that I've used it around 35-40 times in the entire year I've had it and I went to turn it on yesterday after not having used it for about a month and the screen is black and the caps lock light is blinking when I try to turn it on. I've looked up what that means and most HP troubleshooting boards agree its from a bios boot issue. Which is ridiculous for it to have that problem when it's less than a year old and is such a lightly used laptop. Definitely not worth the money I spent, and not worth taking to a repair shop and paying to (maybe) get it fixed. Lesson learned, I won't be purchasing any more items from Amazon's "refurbished" store. Don't waste your money, just spend a little more and buy a new one that you know will at least last a whole year and if not, is covered under a real warranty.

This computer charges fast..and the browser on it is quick. My only complaint is the microphone on it when watching movies is a tad low but fixed by adding a blue tooth speaker when watching or with earbuds.

Play Video Got this laptop for my gma to browse and write emails, always pleased to see at least 8GB ram even if it's ddr4, and the N200 processor should last 5+ years for her uses, far as performance. Running it thru its paces now, these 12th gen lowspec intel chips have some darn usable graphics performance, played a whole turbo dota match without performance issues on low default settings, id guess 50fps avg, cpu and gpu pegged at 100% usage and keyboard remains only barely warm. Bought the cute matching mouse elsewhere on amazon, paid for the both of them $205. Great value browsing and word processing machine, solid weight, decently low keyboard flex, really usable size, and with potential to last. Cons: mushy and soft keys, screen viewing angles and general quality are not good, power adapter isn't good quality, quite hot, refurbished.

The laptop overall is good for the price, not slow, not super-fast, but does the job. I have two working Logitech Wireless Mouse that did not work at first. I reinstalled the drivers though device manager, still not recognized as a Logitech mouse, it was picking up the standard windows drivers. The only solution after a few hours for research, was to go to Logitech and download the "Logitech Connection Utility" after you install and run your wireless mouse will work just fine. The only thing received is the laptop and the power supply, don't expect manuals, external keyboard, or mouse.
