Wow where have I been? Stuck in the 2000's with a black and white laser for far too long, apparently. I didn't think my household truly NEEDED an all-in-one color printer, but now having it has been amazingly convenient and I doubt I'd be willing to return to black and white ever again. The ability to wirelessly print from our family laptops or mobile devices is truly worth its price in time saving and convenience. The colors print exactly as they appear on screen, and quickly without any jams thus far. The setup was incredibly simple -- almost plug and play. You do need to download the HP app for setup, which was easy enough to do but note you can always opt not to divulge any information you are not comfortable sharing. The entire setup fit in the same footprint as my older printer, but now I have the added convenience of a duplex scanner as well as a flatbed for phot-quality images which comes in handy when wanting to digitize physical memorabilia from here on out. The touch screen panel is intuitive and works smoothly thus far, and we have had zero issues with our wifi connection, despite the printer being in a notoriously unstable wifi area in our home! Overall very satisfied with our new all-in-one setup. The low overhead, convenience, and utility we're getting out of this was the simplest quality upgrade we could've made for our home office.

I was given the opportunity to use and evaluate the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer, and I am impressed with the functionality of this printer. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience so far: Setup and Usability - The design is sleek and professional, fitting well in any home office setting. It has a compact footprint considering its features. The printer was very easy to setup and add to my wireless network. After following the instructions and setting up the printer, I was printing from my phone within minutes. With many devices in the house, it is critical that anyone can printer whenever they need. Whether it be for school, work, or just a fun, this capability is critical. Performance - The printer delivers high-quality prints with great color and sharp text, making it ideal for all my needs. This thing prints fast, around 20 pages per minute for black and white and only slightly slower for color. Even though I would never need to print that much so fast, it is great to know it can if the need arises. Features - The OfficeJet Pro 8135e comes equipped with a variety of features that enhance its usability. The automatic document feeder and double-sided printing save time and reduce paper, which is a big plus. The touchscreen interface is intuitive and responsive, allowing for quick navigation through settings and print options. Connectivity options are robust, with support for Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connections. With the HP Smart app you can print remotely from smartphones and tablets. The integration with various cloud services using the Smart app makes accessing any file a breeze. Overall value - The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e is an excellent multifunction printer that balances performance and functionality. With its competitive pricing in the all-in-one printer market, it offers great value for small to medium-sized businesses or home offices. Whether you need it for casual printing or more demanding workloads, the 8135e is a reliable choice. This HP OfficeJet Pro is both a versatile and efficient printer. If you are in the market for a new multi-function printer, this one is a solid investment. I would highly recommend the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e to anyone seeking a new printer.

This is gonna be one of those “if I could give it a MINUS 5 stars, I would” kinda review. I’ve been a professional computer systems reviewer for 20 years, and this is the single most frustrating, time-wasting, money-wasting device I have ever used. This is supposedly an all-in-one printer: It scans, copies, faxes, prints, autofeeds documents, works via Ethernet or dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) WiFi from a desktop computer, laptop, phone, web or any other device that will talk to a printer and can be connected. I noticed recently that the price has dropped from $230 to $150. That could be because newer models are available…or it could simply be because HP is trying to unload a really rotten device. Pros of the HP OJ Pro 8020e series You will save trees. The print experience with the HP OJ 8020e is so awful that I go out of my way to avoid printing anything. Literally. Cons (where do I begin…?) Installation is confusing, largely because HP spends quite a bit of time inveigling you into installing its smart printing app that strays dangerously close to malware. Its primary function appears to be talking you into signing up for “Instant Ink,” HP’s ink subscription service that sells you ink whether you want it or not, and then getting you to buy more. It monitors your activity and sends a lot of data back to the HP mothership, and—like most of HP’s “smart” functionality—is a real pain to stop. Installing a wireless smart device should be a no-brainer. Unbox, plug in the printer and power up, select a WiFi network and enter your password, then hit the print button. Ten minutes, max. Not this printer—it took FOUR HOURS of install-test-reinstall before it could print its first page. Even then, I would up sending the document to my Android phone and printing from there. The Ethernet connection was equally stubborn. I wound up resetting the printer six times until it could find the WiFi network. Along the way, I accidentally activated HP’s ink subscription program, which has caused even more headaches. Even than, the only way I can guarantee a print or scan is to shut down the printer, shut down my computer, and then restart. That gives me ONE immediate session to print or scan as much as possible before it goes offline again. If it actually does work, the print/scan is high-quality, but after six months with this foul beast I’ve never managed to get actual output in less than an hour. If you work from home (as many of us do these days), beware your company’s VPN: The HP apps will be shut out, and the printer won’t work. It also doesn’t seem to like Microsoft Teams. Best to save your printing until day’s end, then restart everything, do your print, and retire for the night. HP advertises its “six months of free ink,” but read the fine print before you sign up, and be very careful: Once the printer/your network thinks you’ve agreed to accept that free prize, you’ll be forced to use HP’s ink cartridges—at 2X the price—forever. Some HP printers allow you to disable “cartridge protection,” which allows the printer to reject any non-HP ink cartridge and simply refuse to print. The 8020e, and all “e-series” printers, however, do not, a practice I thought had been made illegal in the US, but apparently not. So, in addition to a poorly functioning printer, you’ll also be stuck spending $90 on a set of HP ink cartridges instead of $45. Now, I've nothing against HP ink, and I typically prefer to buy the printer manufacturer's own ink just to avoid hassles. But I don't want to be forced into it, and I also don't want to be forced to purchase more ink than I actually need, given how little I print these days. Supposedly you can rub an electrostatic rubber thingee across an ink cartridge’s microchip to get it to work…but that hasn’t worked for me. At this point, I'm looking for a cheap, non-HP printer that does NOT lock you into a bogus ink program and doesn't require hours of frustration just to get the WiFi actually connecting. I wish to blazes I hadn't given my old Epson printer away.

Really good printer, high quality printing and cool feature that you can print from anywhere. Reading other reviews the main complaint seems to be issues with initial set up. I had no such issues at all and found it very very straightforward to set up and I am not good with technology at all.

Play Video Sooooo happy with my new printer. It works very well. The installation was easy and quick as it comes with a user manual. Just follow the instructions and you are set in less than 10 minutes. This printer comes with free ink. Also, once you sign up and follow the instructions of the app, they will send you a new set of ink too. So far, no issues with connectivity. I was able to print using my laptop, phone and iPad. Grab yours now!! 👌🏻👍🏻

Easy set-up, and a great printer that delivers the quality I was expecting. I had my previous HP printer for 5 years and this is the next generation of what I had before. Great for home office use, remote printing from anywhere in my home or when I am away. Was easy to change my HP Instant Ink account to the new printer.

I bought the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Wireless Color Printer for our home office to replace a laser printer from a different make which I hated! The HP is great and very easy to set up with the HP app and I am very happy with the print quality. One thing that I love about HP printers is that they work great with any computer system. In our house we use, Windows, Mac and Linux computers for various tasks, and there are no issues with the drivers or features on the printer. I did not opt for the "ink Subscription" as I don't like such supscriptions packages, but the ink cartridges are readily available all over the place. The scanner is practible and it is great to be able to scan a stack of paper with the auto-feed tray on the printer. All in all I am very pleased with this printer and can highly recommend it for any home/office application.
