The WiFi/BT adapter worked after installing the software on the thumb drive. The built-in WiFi/BT adapter for my Lenovo laptop stopped working. This external thumb drive adapter was a simple solution. There are larger, faster adapters but this small adapter can stay in place when I put my laptop into my briefcase. Make sure any adapter you purchase is for both wifi and Bluetooth. The speed on this one seems good.

This Bluetooth adapter is perfect for any Windows desktop PC that don't come with a built-in bluetooth device. I plugged it in to my Dell running Windows 11. Windows immediately added the bluetooth adapter with no need for a driver installation. If you are curious, look under Device Manager, now it has Bluetooth entry. This device uses Realtek chip. The next step is to add any bluetooth devices such as keyboard, mouse, and headset. It cannot be any easier than this.

I got this for my PC since I had an old Bluetooth 3 dongle that needed to be replaced so I could connect some newer devices to my PC. This seemed like a reasonable BT 5.4 option! I tested it out on my Windows PC and was able to stay connected with my AirPods max over 50 feet and through walls, which was amazing considering on most of these wireless devices where it says “Up to XX feet!” I usually only get a fraction of what they advertise. The setup was easy to – it’s a plug and play device as it says…it works pretty quickly after you plug it in. One awesome thing I found was that it works with Ubuntu 24.04 by default. I plugged it in and was able to connect my AirPods Max without any issue. Your mileage may vary with Linux, but I assume if you are using Linux you know what you are doing anyway. Two complaints for this are the price and the size of it. At $15 it is a lot more expensive than other BT 5.4 receivers – in some cases over 2x the price of other options. It’s also not low profile – I realize they don’t advertise it as such, but it sticks out almost ONE FULL INCH from the USB port. I measured it and it’s a chonkster! I think for the wireless dongle combo maybe this size makes sense, but for just the Bluetooth dongle, I would expect it to be closer to the ¼ inch low profile BT 5.4 dongles you can buy. This is especially bad for Laptop users as something this long could break your laptop’s port if you end up leaning on it or you put it in your bag with the dongle facing down. Overall, it seems to be widely compatible and long-range. Even though they say it only works on Windows, I was able to get it to connect to my Ubuntu PC just fine. The only downsides are the price and the size, but if you do not care about either of those and just want something that works, go for it!

One of my computers is in our basement and had an older wifi dongle that really didn't work so great down there. It had a steady connection, but was slower than its advertised speeds, probably due to distance from our access point. Since I use it for streaming and gaming I decided it was time to try something else, but it had to be a small, external device as my PC is in an old-style desktop case and has no room for PCI-E cards. This dongle has fantastic wifi capability, picking up the signal from the access point much stronger than the old one. On top of that, it even gets a good signal using the 5 gigahertz band which means my transfer speeds are about 5x faster than with the old dongle. I've only tried using the dongle's wifi capabilities as that's what I bought it for, but I couldn't be happier. I've got a blazing fast and stable connection for very little money and practically no effort outside of plugging in the dongle.

My husband got this adapter so he could use a wireless Xbox controller on his computer while playing video games. He has been really pleased with it and says it works perfectly for his needs. He says it was super easy to get set-up and was able to start using it right away. Additionally, he doesn't experience any lag whatsoever when gaming. All in all, this adapter works as he needed it to. It has great connectivity and signal strength, as well as being a great value for the money.

I've never had a wireless card for my PC, so I've never been able to connect Bluetooth devices. It finally came to a head as I wanted to connect a wireless mouse to test it over Bluetooth vs. the wireless dongle it came with. On paper, the wireless dongle should have been better, but using this I was able to show less lag over Bluetooth. So, two thumbs up from me!

This bluetooth dongle is pretty good and I had no problem getting it connected and pairing devices. However, I use a device about 15 feet away from where its situated and at that distance it tends to miss inputs, if I get even just one foot closer it works fine. So this wasn't ideal for me, but unless you're far away from your main device it might be fine for you.

This dongle was the easy option to adding bluetooth to my pc without having to add hardware inside. It paired easily with my headphones, which is why I needed bluetooth. Now I can use my pc for work instead of my laptop.

This USB Bluetooth v5.4 adapter is effectively plug and play for Windows 10 / 11 OS devices. I had an old laptop which doesn't have a built-in Bluetooth adapter, so this did the trick in enabling that feature so I could use a Bluetooth mouse with it.I had no problem getting my Laptop to recognise it and then pairing my mouse with the laptop. It's not too big although the body is slightly longer than some other Bluetooth adapters available and is not compatible with Linux of MacOS devices. It runs Bluetooth v5.4 which is quite a late version so gives a good range and throughput for devices that support it. It is currently priced at £12.99 with an additional vocuher saving of 10% off at the checkout so it isn't the cheapest adapter available but works fine with Windows devices.

You can never have enough Bluetooth Adapters LOL I tested this on a range of Bluetooth audio devices and controllers. It was plug & play, no drivers required on my Window 11 Pro OS, I just plugged it in where I then heard that ding ding sound. Paired up a few audio devices along with a few Xbox Series Controllers. All paired up without any issues at all. I used it all day with my Xbox Series Controllers playing games etc and I never had a single drop like I have with a couple of other Bluetooth. I give this product a 5 star rating.

I got this Bluetooth adapter to add Bluetooth connectivity to an old desktop PC that doesn't have it built in. Setup was easy, I just plugged it into a USB port on my PC, which is running Windows 10, and it was recognised immediately without needing any drivers. The first thing I tested was pairing it with a Bluetooth headset, and the connection was solid with no noticeable lag when watching videos or just listening to music. I also connected a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, both of which worked perfectly fine without any noticeable issues. One of the best features of this newest Bluetooth version is its ability to connect multiple devices at once. I had a speaker, keyboard, and mouse all connected simultaneously without getting any interference. The range is about what I expected, which was 6 meters with a clear line of sight before signal strength starts to weaken. Walls and furniture do affect it, but that’s expected with Bluetooth connectivity in general. One thing to note is that this is NOT compatible with macOS, Linux, or game consoles, so it’s strictly for Windows PCs. I also tested it on my laptop which is running Windows 11 and it worked fine on there as well without needing any drivers installed. Although I haven't tested this, I read that Windows 7 will require downloading a driver from their website, so if you are still running Windows 7 that's something you will need to do in order to get this working on that operating system. Overall, this adapter does exactly what it claims. It’s small, discreet, and provides a stable Bluetooth connection for multiple devices. I couldn't find any negative points about it so far so it's a definite 5 star product in my opinion
