What can I say...it's a can opener it opens cans, no seriously though we use these at work to open industrial cans and these things can take a beating, I decided I needed to get one for home and the biggest win was no more sharp can lids, super easy to use makes life a little easier.

I bought this can opener machine since ours had broke, it has to be used with your hands. I was looking for something that would be simple and effective to use. This fully cuts around the can in a unique way which is cool. It’ll go around the opener until you release the handle and cuts perfect! I highly recommend this to anyone, I like the size as it’s not too big.

This is our second purchase of the Hamilton Beach (76606ZA) Smooth Touch Electric Automatic Can Opener, and we continue to love it. It produces a smooth, safe can lid and works on a wide range of cans, including large food service cans. It engages easily and cuts on the first pass. Our first model lasted about five years before it started to fail, which I think is reasonable given the heavy use it endured. I’d rather replace it after five years than have a longer-lasting opener that leaves dangerous, sharp lids. It’s a great product for safety and convenience.

This is a good can opener, it works well and cuts a clean reusable lit off. I guess if you like opening cans by hand then don't get it but who does. Only con is that it takes up more space, but I'll take that vs convivence, or maybe if you loose power or we are in apocalyptic times you need a manual can opener. This is a really nice not too expensive device that helps make life a little easier

Excellent Product

Finally! This is a great can opener, just put the can in and it gets opened, no problem. Easy. We needed one because we both have hand/wrist issues in our household and manual openers were painful to use. This opener really does wonders for us. It's not too large and fits fine on our shelf. NOTE: I have seen ratings on this mentioning "metal shavings" in the can afterwards. We have had this for several weeks, opened multiple cans, and no shavings. You can't let it continuously run; one rotation is enough to open the can. If you walk away from it and come back after a minute, yeah, you might get metal shavings. Also, people have mentioned you have to stand there and watch the can open: yes, you probably shouldn't walk away from the can as it's being opened, but it takes 5-10 seconds (maybe not even that long) depending on the can. You really can't watch it for that long? We have been through multiple manual units with great ratings like the OXO and Starfrit units, and others. Most worked fine for a while but eventually gave out. Have been so disappointed by openers over the years. Hope this one lasts. It's so easy!

Pensé que era demasiado comprar un abrelatas eléctrico pues no lo uso mucho, pero el mio que era manual ya no servía y vi que estaba a un precio casi igual a algunos manuales que he visto y pues lo compré, está excelente la verdad... a lo mejor es algo grande para un aparato que es solo para abrir latas pero si eso no es problema es una muy buena compra.
