I took it to south america! It has a confusing chasis with shows te power, and i have to send it to repair! Sounds amazing! Tweeter it's an amazing upgrade from the previous version, but there is no parts available! And there is a diafragm and the whole tweeter for the mk1 version! Anyway! Bluetooth work ok! It has a 100 hz pad! Sound very loud and clear

Bought to replace the speaker I use for a vocal monitor at my karaoke shows. Highly recommended by two friends who have them, now I'll add my own high recommendation. Great sound, plenty of volume/power, simple controls. Haven't tried the bluetooth capabilities yet, too much latency in most bluetooth stuff for it to be usable for live-sound purposes. Frankly, I have only 3 very minor "nits" with it. 1. It's heavier than I expected. Not excessive, just more than I expected from a speaker it's size. It's solid. 2. While there is a handle, it's not where I would find it most useful (prefer on the left-end when horizontal, top when vertical), it's on the top-back when horizontal. 3. When set at an angle for use an a floor monitor, there isn't a lot of clearance for cables or wireless adapters plugged in to the XLR/Phone jacks. While most cables and some wireless adapters will work there, some might not work with the speaker that position.

My search for a great tone has been a long one. I've worked with several powered speakers and monitors before discovering the HR 108. I must say that my first impression of this speaker was not 4 stars, more like 3 at best. It wasn't until I found a downloadable PEQ Block (search Fractal Forum for: Flattening the headrush curve WKSmith) that moved my rating up to 4 stars. These speakers are amazingly loud and definitely sound best on tripod stands... mine are low at 24 inches (from the bottom of the speaker to floor) which helps give me that amp-in-room sound. The features are very useful and the handle is very comfortable. I also really appreciate the weight, at 21 pounds it's so easy get them in and out of the car and to navigate stairs. I've had no problems with noise (hiss or otherwise), even when I use them in my small music room at home. Like all PA type speakers that are biamped there can be hiss... my pair placed about 8 feet apart and me 3 feet back and between them and pointed at me and volume pedal heel-down the hiss is so little that I can't hear it and I keep the back-panel volume knobs at 8. As for playing power with the pair indoors I'm good to about 100 people without going into a PA. There is a negative that kept me from giving a 5 star rating, I found the tweeters to sound okay, but they have a shrill, piercing midrange quality that's quite harsh and is easily noticeable on crunch and distortion tones. It can be dialed out some, but the sizzle of overdriven tones lives in that space making it a tradeoff proposition. This harshness is common to titanium (diaphragm) tweeters (or high frequency compression drivers). It seems titanium drivers are everywhere when it comes to PA and FRFR speakers. Polyimide seems to be the choice amongst those players that make their own speakers up from scratch. I made my way to my own personal 5 star rating by changing over to polyimide tweeters which are known to have a more natural sound for higher frequencies. It's worth mentioning that the included tweeters are rebuildable and HR does stock replacement diaphragms (it's the same one found in Alto TS408 and 410), maybe someday they'll make a polyimide replacement diaphragm. I've got my amazing tone now, even at low volumes and my (Howard) Dumble presets sound breathtaking!

Like the new version with blue Toof, using a high dollar modeler and it sounds okay. It a back up to a much better item. It works better in my rig as a monitor

It gets plenty loud with my helix lt, and sounds great. This speaker made dialing in good sounds much easier than my studio monitors i was using before. The top and bottom end can be a bit harsh, but that was easily fixed with the global eq on the helix by adding some cuts. It also sounds great as a bluetooth speaker. Really happy with the portability and sound of the 1x8 headrush.

These are way too noisy. I would expect a FRFR to sound like a studio monitor not a guitar amp when no signal is being applied. In other words I would not expect to hear any sound at all without putting my ear up to the woofer. However Headrush has a support page indicating the noise is normal and to be expected. They also are too bass heavy when used on the floor. I should have purchased a single Fender Tone Master FR-12 instead of 2 of these. They too had noise issues initially but it sounds like Fender resolved this. I will be replacing these in a few months when I can justify buying something higher end.

I use mine with a Quad Cortex and it does the job! I use it mostly for metal and It handles the very heavy samples very well. It'll work fine for any genre.

No volumen on this at all. There is no way this is a 2000w speaker, I think is 10 watts top! Read other reviews having the same issue.. DO NOT BUY!
