It’s simple, it works great, and looks nicer than the crusty one that came with my apartment. It held water for 30 minutes while I cleaned my surfaces and drained fast as advertised. I really like the simplicity of the push system to plug or drain. It’s a perfect fit for my sink, and if you’re not using the strainer for whatever reason, it sticks to the wall of the sink which I thought was a cool plus. I did see someone else say that they couldn’t lay stuff flat in their sink because of the handle. While that is true, it is easy just to remove the strainer basket (and stick it to the wall of the sink hehe) to do whatever you gotta do with a flat sink. I really do recommend this sink stopper!

It did everything claimed in the advertisement and more. Looks great and works great. A perfect fit! A great value for my money.

It does as advertised. Easy to clean, drains well, however the seal under the base tends to come apart a lot and I need to continuously put it back together. When this happens there is no suction.

This solves a lot of problems. I replaced my regular stopper (which did not stop the water from leaking down the drain although it fit tightly and did not catch refuse) with a strainer which was a very nice product. However, it did not solve the problem of water running down and I had to remove the sink rack each time I wanted to empty the strainer. Also, when I wanted to fill the sink, I had to put the old stopper in which was terribly ineffective at keeping the water in the basin This stopper solved both problems in that it has a strainer and a stopper combined. It has an elegant appearance and works just as elegantly. I highly recommend it.

Overall these are a good product. They are easy to install and fit easily into the sink drain. They do an amazing job of collecting debris and still allow all the water to drain out. Their customer service is quick to respond to questions. However, when I asked about the water retention time being less than an hour, I was told this normal. Disappointed. The reason for my three stars is for a couple of reasons. These strainers are not water efficient. They will not hold water for more than 45 minutes when I want to soak an item before washing. I typically fill my sink to thaw out meat. Once that is done, I use the water to soak the plates from my indoor grill. Now I have to fill the sink twice. The little floating tab seems pointless and just gets in the way. They stick up a little high and if bumped, rapidly lets water out. So if you’re wanting to soak something for longer than an hour, don’t throw away your old metal ones.

How excited can a person get over a silly drain stop for the kitchen sink?? ME!! Ok, you will say this guy needs a life, but hold on! How often does the,stopper just not work? I gone,through enough to keep Home Depot in business. These stopper work and do not leak the water out when you walk away. Ok, now off to my other project watching paint dry

I got this to replace the third less expensive stoppers that either did not fit well enough or came apart. This fits and works great. Very convenient to use and seems like it will last longer than other.

Purchased to replace the XO brand plug we had. In the beginning it worked well, didn't leak and held water in the sink for an extended time. After about 2 months it stopped holding water for more than a few minutes. Once the sink has around 2gallons the thing leaks like crazy. You can hear it. There's nothing visibly wrong, no cuts, knicks or snags that would leak. The only thing that stands out is the clear silicone pressure ring that acts as a seal has gotten too soft to hold back the water pressure and it leaks out. The spring loaded lock is fine and the sink drain itself is spotless. I'd pass on this until a design change is introduced. Perhaps adding several rings/flanges would help.

I bought these to replace a leaking strainer and am very happy with the purchase. They do have to be taken out and cleaned but that's light work for what you get out of it. It strains food waste like a champ and has a great seal.

This is easy to install, it just slides in to a regular sink and catches all of the food and bits that would otherwise get stuck in the drain. Highly recommended

Before the product broke, I was very happy with it. It performed well and was exactly what I needed. However, the mechanism that causes the strainer to pop up broke and now it doesn't work. It's expensive for a sink strainer, so I would have expected it to last more than 2 months.

Works well catching food scraps although sometimes the suction is really tight. Great to catch scraps and keep sink clean.

I am happy with this item. Working well with my kitchen sink.
