I have two small Shia Tzu's who are 8 and 9. This bread has a lot of problems with sensitive skin. I've tried many, many brands of dog food for them over the years, and have found that Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin has really help with their itchy, dry skin. They both enjoy the smaller bites as well. My vet also recommends this food for them as well. Fast shipping and quality product!

My vet recommends Science Diet and my dog "Lincoln" gives this particular one 5 stars. The size of the bites are perfect for him and his automatic feeder. This is a high quality food that is gentle on his stomach and helps with his skin issues as well. He also eats less because of the high quality therefore he leaves less "Lincoln Logs" in the yard. It always seems fresh!

Switched from Purina as it was making my dog sick. People tell you to go fresh cause their vets dont get a kickback. All vets get a kickback, it doesnt matter. So far so good for Science Hill. No problems with my dog getting sick. Sometimes, we add mixed veggies to the kibble, but its ok. Petsmart raised their prices, so I just order it from here.

Good product, for a while, after being on it for a long time, senior fur babies, kind of loose their interest. Then you try, something else. Good product for sensitive stomach and skin.

Our chihuahua mix can and will eat anything with no problems. Our poodle/ chi mix on the other hand not only needs to be coaxed into eating her meals, but has a history of vomiting it back up several days a week. Specifically she had the vomiting problem with the Hill's puppy food. We switched both dogs to a completely different brand but it took even longer to get the picky one to eat it (even though she didn't vomit it up). So we switched to the Hill's sensitive stomach and have not had any issues with consistent vomiting from either dog. The chi would happily eat the entire bag in one sitting if we let him, the poodle will eat it but demand an audience and applause for having done so. For reference both dogs mentioned are about 7lbs and get a total of 1/4 cup of the Hills sensitive stomach kibble each day per dog. We divide the 1/4 cup per dog into 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) twice a day covered in warm water. The package is so small we keep it in a cereal storage container to keep it fresh.

Our dog had been eating the same food for 12 years, but recently, he started coughing up his food every day. After switching to Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin, the coughing stopped overnight! It was like a complete turnaround. Though it’s more expensive than other brands, it’s absolutely worth it for the improvement in his health and comfort. We’re so relieved to see him enjoying his meals again without any issues. Highly recommend this food for dogs with sensitive stomachs!

Our 12 year old dog was on hills prescription ID food for such a long time. After years of having the runs after every food we tried we had to do prescription food. After a year of being on this we switched to the hills sensitive stomach and we have had zero issue! Which is hard to believe. Highly recommend.

My dog has always had a sensitive stomach and picky eating habits. We tried countless dog foods, but many caused upset tummies or simply went untouched. I was at my wit's end until I tried Hill's Science Diet Adult Sensitive Stomach & Skin Chicken Recipe. From the first bowl, I noticed a difference. My dog ate his food eagerly and showed no signs of digestive upset. His coat also looks shinier and healthier. It's clear that this food is gentle on his stomach and provides the nutrition he needs. I highly recommend this food to any dog owner with a picky eater or a dog with sensitive digestion. It's a bit more expensive than some other brands, but the peace of mind and my dog's improved health are worth it!

Mon chien digère très bien sa nouvelle nourriture il est également empressé de finir son bol. J'ai toujours préféré la marque Hill's et encore une fois, je suis très satisfaite de mon choix.

I have a Doberman that is almost 2 years old. He has always had an extremely sensitive stomach and had diarrhea with every pet store food I tried, and trust me I have tried so many; all the different variations (grain free vs with grains, different meat types, fish, etc.) and even tried raw food. Everything gave him diarrhea. Finally we turned to our vet who prescribed the Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein dog food. This stopped the diarrhea which was such a relief, but the food is expensive. It stared at $130 a bag initially and over the course of 9 months has risen to $170 a bag. I was sick of the price gouging so I tried to find another alternative. There was a lot of trial and error and more diarrhea to be had. Eventually I came across this dog food and I wasn’t very hopeful at first due to all the failed attempts, but it’s been 4 months and my dog has had no issues with the food! I’m very happy with the quality and price of this dog food. My dog also eats more often now which is great because he is on the skinny side. This also proves to me that the flavour is more palatable to him than the Royal Canin brand. Highly recommend for pups out there with sensitive stomachs.
