Was easy enough to put together. First I did my area rug.. functionally it worked great. It is a bit heavy when full. I like that it has a rinse on it. I would never imagine that much soap would be left behind. Next I did my full wall to wall carpets upstairs. No one is up there but has not been cleaned in a year. Usually I rent a commercial shampooer. So having said that it cleans nicely.. but every five minutes I had to stop to put water in it or empty it out. That was time consuming. The attachments work nicely easy to connect and use. Again when full it’s heavy so if the hose doesn’t go half way up your stairs so you can put it and bottom Of stairs and do half and on top of stairs to do the other half I can’t see putting it on a step in the middle and trying to shampoo. It’s a good shampooer in an emergency.. good For area rugs again wall to wall you’re going to have to keep stopping. There is not a lot of noise . It was a good value for the money.. good in case the pet does a 😬. Would I buy it again? Yes I would it was worth the money and the convenience of not always having to run out to Rent one and being able to clean up the pet oops or my spilling something. I am updating my review. Up it to 5 stars. Even though I had to keep stopping to refill with water or empty it the performance of this machine is awesome. I went back and looked at my rugs .. I am use to a commercial size shampooer.. and I have to say I think this one out beats the clean of the commercial one.. this one is a little more time-consuming however the performance is right up there. Have no complaints about the performance I’m impressed. Today I did my steps awesome attachments love them! The hose reaches about seven steps up, which is the same as a commercial one. It cleaned the steps very well. Five stars five stars five stars! Best shampooer I ever had ! And the price was great. I am so happy I bought it. It’s convenient to always have it. I could do my carpets my furniture anytime I want if my dog has an accident it’s there it’s clean. Awesome people! try it out.

I own a kids gym and we have cheer flooring/carpet and a vinyl wrestling mat. WOW, I used it one time and it got so much dirt and grime out. Can use for multi surfaces and I can say this is the most powerful floor washer we’ve used. It took me literally two minutes to put together and it’s super easy to use as well. It released a lot of water and it scrubs but it sucks up a lot of the water as well. I absolutely love this and we’ve used many floor washers before. I’ll definitely buy another one for my home!

I bought my first Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe back in 2015, and it was a true workhorse. After 9 solid years of dependable service, it was finally time to retire it and get a new one. To my surprise, this newer version is $30 cheaper than what I paid for the original! Despite the lower price, the quality is just as impressive. It has great suction power and is incredibly easy to clean after use, which is a big plus for a carpet cleaner. If you’re looking for a reliable machine that gets the job done, this is it. The fact that I didn’t hesitate to buy it again after nearly a decade says it all. Highly recommended!

The PowerScrub XL arrived a few days ago and I decided to try it out today. The setup was simple. I filled the solution tank with 50-50 solution/water and the water tank as instructed. I had a small, cheap carpet I was going to first test it out on. After about 30 seconds the solution tank was almost empty. I turned it off and checked the solution tank and the lid had unscrewed itself. The thing is, I had tightened the lid pretty tight. So I refilled the solution tank and screwed the lid on VERY tight this time and it stayed on. After finishing the test carpet I moved to the large, family room carpet. It worked fine, though I found maneuvering the machine difficult. The machine might be too heavy for me. I'm 72 and out of shape. I shampooed for an hour then took a break. I was sweating badly. One thing I noticed was the suction power seemed greater the more vertical the handle was. I found that walking next to the handle worked better than walking behind the handle. It wasn't as difficult to push and the handle could be in a more upright position for better extraction. Another thing I noticed was that every time I turned the machine off the subsequent pass after turning the machine back on seemed to do nothing. I decided to take a break and emptied the dirty water tank. It was dirtier than I expected because I always take my shoes off when coming in from outside. Anyway, after the break I decided to rinse the carpet. Wow. There was a lot of soap still in the carpet. I was quite tired so I took many breaks while rinsing. Finally I finished and I was surprised that there was just as much dirt in the dirty water container as there was when shampooing. I suspect that another rinse might still be necessary, but I was exhausted, so I quit. Cleaning the unit was easy. Pros : Worked well once I knew what I was doing. Cons: If the cord was 5 feet longer I could have done the whole room from one outlet. This is not a deal maker, though. The unit was heavy and was a workout for this old, out of shape senior. What I would do if I had a second chance : I wanted this machine because of the large tanks. I wouldn't have to change the water/solution very often. But it was too heavy and quite a workout. I would have purchased a lighter unit with smaller tanks. I would rather refill the tanks more often than having to deal with such a heavy unit as the Hoover. The Shark CarpetXpert EX201 got good reviews and is almost 10 pounds lighter when empty. With full water tanks the Shark would be even lighter. I'd probably buy the Shark if I could do it over again.

This is the best carpet cleaner. Not as big and heavy as my previous cleaner, also a hoover spin brushes, but that is just what I need. I like the round spin brushes instead of the long bar. I only wish I would have taken before and after photos. I have a rescue dog and potty training has been difficult to say the least. This machine has great suction and really gets out the excess water. I also like that there is a separate soap dispenser and a separate water tank, and the soap is not mixed in one water tank. Got it for a great price. Extremely happy. I'm 71 and I'm so happy to downsize to this unit and the results are great!

I decided to buy this machine and try to get my large area rug somewhat clean after our house renovations were completed and the carpet had been exposed to drywall dust, dirt and workmen's boots and so forth. I am more than pleased with the outcome using this machine! The carpet looks new again with no musty/dusty smell. It's fairly lightweight and easy to use. Emptying and refilling the water containers is easy peasy. I especially like all the attachments for furniture, stairs and even for the car. The ability to switch to rinse with water only, which removes leftover cleaner solution from the carpet is in my opinion a very nice option. One downside is it seems to use up the water rather quickly and I refilled it 4 times for the large area rug.

The multi directional brushes make the difference when cleaning short pile carpet. Counter intuitive. For better cleaning of carpet. More weight would help the cleaning. Just go slow and it gets out most dirt.

La primera vez que la usé le sacó lodo a la alfombra, a pesar de que usamos una buena aspiradora, la diferencia con esta lavadora es notable en las fibras de la alfombra. En la foto se puede ver la comparación, al lado derecho sólo le di una pasada. Es un poco pesada por la cantidad de agua que maneja, pero su funcionamiento es muy sencillo, el peso no hace difícil su manejo gracias a las buenas llantas y tiene un alto poder de succión. Es muy buena también para la limpieza de muebles gracias a los aditamentos. La usamos para lavar toda la alfombra del segundo piso y la de la sala, está última blanca, quedó muy bonita, también lavamos todos los sillones. La recomendamos ampliamente.

I was very excited to use my machine. It came with what looks like a USA plug and no adapter. I read the instructions, used my own adapter, measured and filled the machine, turned it on and instantly heard a bang, with the smell of burning and then machine turned off... I felt it was going to create an electrical fire, especially how there is water inside the machine and something has exploded in there. Not a nice experience.
