I wear a 9 in almost everything and my feet are wide. The 9 fits very true to size with medium thickness socks. If you're in between I would go up a size then use an insole or thick socks. I have somewhat muscular calves -15" at widest area. A lot of boots are too tight, but these fit! However, they are snug. I will only be able to fit leggings or very thin skinny jeans into them. They have a slight arch which is comfortable since I have relatively flat feet. They are very high quality, 10X better than the ones I bought at Target for $30. Kind of like buying real Ugg boots instead of the knock offs.

For working in the garden and around horses, these boots are amazing. Don't have to worry about walking in grass and getting bitten by a snake. Love Florida! Also great around the paddock and mucking out stalls in the stable. It's a shame a British company outsources to China. Wish I kept my "real one," from England.

A little snug in the calf area but not uncomfortable. I would suggest to others to going a half size larger if you plan on wearing thick socks. I wear a 9 normally, I bought a 9 but with thickey socks I could wear a 9.5. But overall I love them & will wear them often.

Sorry it’s wrapped, it’s a present for my fiancée. Once she tries it on I’ll post an update! The box it arrives in was very nice and well kept not too banged up from shipping, once opened I looked to see if their were any scratches on it because of other peoples reviews I wanted to make sure the boots were in perfect condition (I got the original shiny tall boots size 9) they look great and no wear or tear! Really impressed with everything!! Will post an update in a few weeks!

The boots were in very poor condition. Either had been used or wear from in the box? The gloss was rubbed off of a lot of places. Fit wise for those with muscular calves, they are super snug, I could barely get them on.

They are cool but I think I needed an 8.

Around the ankle was very large so it looked funny

Bel article et bonne qualité. Commandé en taille 40/41, trop grandes pour moi qui chausse un 39/40 pieds normaux. Elles ne conviennent pas aux mollets fins dans cette taille car elles sont trop grandes, même avec un jean et grosses chaussettes. J'ai commandé la pointure inférieure, 39 et elles sont parfaites en tout points (taille du pied et mollet). Je les aimes beaucoup !!!

After reading all the negative reviews I'm really pleased with my new black gloss hunters. I went for the cheaper pair which apparently aren't as glossy (made before 2012) but they are super glossy with no marks on them - was expecting a scuffed up pair of matte ones by all the bad reviews. They actually look really classy unlike my old black Ugg boots i was wearing to the park each day which in hindsight are really scruffy. Go for the black gloss if you're undecided! The fact they're shiny make them stand out quite enough :) Oh yeah, I have quite muscular legs and went for a half side larger and they fit fine. I can't quite squeeze my thick tracksuit bottoms in but that was never a great look anyway. Tney fit perfectly with leggings or skinny jeans. Have a feeling I'll be wearing these every day during the autumn/winter so fingers crossed they last!
