When I went to the Oculus 3, I was very concerned about how I'd link it to my PC. I'd read a lot of reviews from people using the expensive Meta cable struggling with lag and compression artifacts. I wasn't sure my router was up to the task of handling virtual desktop. This cable was affordable so I thought I'd give it a try. It does the job great. My VR connection to my flight sims is super smooth. The cable has a USB port that allows your to charge the Oculus headset while using it with the default charging cable that comes with the headset. I like this cable's indicator lights that let you know when the cable is firmly connected and/or is getting charging power. The cable is heavy, so it many not be ideal for folks planning on being on the move in VR. I like it's sturdy weave cover that allows it to handle being inadvertently rolled over by my chair. This cable is a great solution for stationary simmers using the Oculus.

Cable arrived just a few days ago and is already fantastic. PROS Keeps headset battery stable - Played for roughly 6 hours and battery stayed at 98% the entire time. Nice build quality - Braided cable with extended plastic towards the end to prevent bending. Aesthetic + convenient - Nice looking cable with a green LED on the end of the cable so you can know it's working! Packaged well - Came in a paper ziplock rather than plastic, and was secured in a loop by plastic clips! See notes below CRITIQUES I wish the plastic clips were big enough to use as a clip to the headset - It doesn't come with any way to secure the cable in case it was caught or yanked, which can damage the port While I appreciate the environment-conscious packaging, I did feel the packaging design was a bit unprofessional at first with the lack of detail/cushion and had me worried I'd been scammed upon initial opening. Looked like something you pick up off a Dollar Tree rack before I opened it. The port on my headset occasionally keeps saying there's water in it when it's plugged in to this cable (and only this one). Aside from these things it works fantastic and has leveled up my VR sessions immensely, will purchase again if needed!

SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATED REVIEW The cable worked perfect with my Quest 3 for a few days. Kept it charged with a good USB3 connection. Only gripe I had was needing to restart the headset every time it was unplugged and plugged back in or else it will only recognize as a USB2 connection. But now whenever I use the cable, it will lose Link connection every 5-15 minutes and I have to fully restart the Link connection in my headset. After a few times of doing this, it will not even detect that it's even plugged in anymore. I don't have this problem with my other Link cables using the same ports. I just wanted this cable because it could keep my headset charged but it's not worth it if the connection is too unstable with this wire. UPDATE: After posting this review, I was contacted by the seller and sent a new cable that had supposedly come with fixes regarding the issues I was having before. The new cable they sent me has been working perfectly since I've gotten it and I haven't had any of the previous issues occur. Respect for the swift contact and service.

Works perfectly for me. Charges the Quest 3 while in use and obviously provides the data connection for Quest Link. The people having issues with charging are probably not using a powerful enough USB-PD charger. I can increase the video stream bitrate to 800 Mbps in the Oculus developer options and the cable can handle it. Does exactly what it is supposed to and seems to be high quality.

I know that QUEST 3 battery is super bad, but with this I played for like 3 hours and it only dropped 1%. I even tried to set graphics and stuff to high and only 1% was dropped. It works amazing, the quality of the cable is really good too. I totally recommend this. You need to connect the cable in the next order for it to work: 1. Turn on the Quest. 2. Connect the USB cable to the 3.0 port. 3. Then, connect the TYPE-C to the Quest. 4. Finally, use the original charger (Idk if it works with others) and connect it to the little rectangle thing on the long cable. The port is on the side and it will display a white light when connected. 5. ENJOY. Sé que la bateria del Quest 3 es super mala, pero con este cable jugué como por 3 horas y nomás bajó 1% de bateria. Para que funcione necesitan conectarlo en el siguiente orden: 1. Prende el Quest. 2. Conecta el cable con USB a un puerto 3.0 en tu PC. 3. Después, conecta la entrada TIPO-C al Quest. 4. Finalmente, utiliza el cargador original (no sé si funciona con otros) y conéctalo al pequeño rectángulo que esta en el cable largo. El puerto está a un lado y va a prender una lucesita cuando se conecte. 5. DISFRUTAA YYEAAA

Comprado para unas Quest 2. La calidad aparente del cable, perfecta. Forrado para evitar dobleces y pinzamientos, los conectores se ven bien construidos. La Quest reconoce a la perfección el cable. He estado jugando con Link al Half Life y ni in cuelgue ni errores de comunicación. Tiene una luz verde en el conector a las Quest muy útil para saber si esta bien conectado y una cinta para sujetarlo y que no fuerce el puerto. Por el momento, una buena compra.

Super recharge bien mon meta quest 3 et le Link sur mon PC fonctionne parfaitement. Le câble en lui même est tresser et vraiment de bonne qualité
