Ive been very happy with lots of JB products and this one is another great one. Ive used it several times to repair tears in flexible plastic golf cart bodies that are made from the same material as car bumpers. Its slow to dry but once dry its very strong and bonds well. With structural adhesives costing 80+ a tube this is a very nice affordable alternative for small to medium repairs. Ive even used it with fiberglass cloth in spots that needed extra reinforcing. Another JB product that does what it says and does it well.

The adhesive is the usual high JB Weld quality. Leaves a shiny black seam to fill body panel joints. Love the twist lock cap that seals both tubes and is easily opened. Best solution for that problem that I’ve seen.

I have a little vacuum cleaner and the hose popped out of it. It's plastic so I bought epoxy that works on plastic. There are different kinds some do not work on plastic so you need to watch for that. I wrapped the end of the hose in duct tape so it would have a smooth tight seal, then put a lot of epoxy inside the plastic coupling and slid the duct tape end into it. It says it's supposed to set up in about 15 minutes...but it was still a little squishy, so I left it sit for about an hour before I used the vacuum and it worked like a dream. There's not a lot of epoxy in this little container. I probably used half of it for this project, but then it's not that expensive either, so I have no complaints. It was very runny when first sqirted out onto a piece of cardboard. Make sure the cardboard or whatever flat surface you put it on is large because it's runny until you stir it for a while... it does get a little thicker, but it's still pretty runny until it sets up. Don't forget to wear gloves. I'm glad I did because, I got this stuff all over the part I was working on and used multiple paper towels to clean it up. I would have got it all over my hands otherwise. I didn't really notice a smell and I have asthma, so I don't think that's an issue.

If JB Weld makes it ….. It will perform as advertised. Notice each adhesive product package they produce boldly publishes its strength, application, compatible materials, and other important specifications right where you can read it? I like that. No guessing - the company is direct & honest. I keep multiple tubes of their “original cold weld epoxy” on hand in my garage as a staple - just in case a repair is needed or a project requires some of those “special” modifications. No other competitors rival their level of performance - when it comes to quality, strength, or overall satisfaction with any cold weld goops. This product I am currently reviewing is from that same vein of chemical genius- folks who understand what the average worker runs into - and the needs of those who are always striving for perfection. I needed a fairly fast setting adhesive that could bond a metal bracket to the plastic of an automotive grille. I had to mount two brackets that hold a pair of sensors. Each sensor had to be precisely positioned, look like the OEM put it there, and held extremely secure. The goop had to be black in color - to blend in with the grille - (so I would not have to repaint it). Well I first used a “dot” of JB Weld’s clear super glue to immediately hold the two mounts in their exact positions. Then after a couple minutes I used the plastic weld to add the fillets and smooth seams I wanted to guarantee strength. It worked excellent. The mounts look fantastic, even up close. And the sensors are held very stable, both are rigidly held in perfect positioning, as required. It is great to be able to read the product’s exterior packaging and KNOW you can now select the proper product required. JB Weld gives just the facts that you need - No BS. So YES - I do recommend their products. They have earned my trust through many years by producing affordable quality adhesives, epoxies, and lubricants. If you can read, and follow instructions - you too will be satisfied.

This is not recommended for PLA 3D prints. Unless you have a large surface area to glue across then this will fall apart easily. I gave it 5 stars because it actually does work for its intended use.

I recently used J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe to fix a few plastic parts on my car, and I’m really impressed with how well it worked! The syringe application makes it super easy to dispense the adhesive exactly where I need it, and it filled gaps smoothly without any mess. The bond is strong and durable, and it sets quickly, allowing me to move on to other parts of my project without waiting around for hours. After it dried, the repair felt solid and secure, and I was confident it would hold up under pressure. This adhesive has a great ability to adhere to plastic materials, making it perfect for auto repairs or other plastic items around the house. Highly recommend this product if you need a reliable, easy-to-use adhesive for plastic repairs. Definitely a go-to in my toolbox now!

What I Like - I had a piece of that thicker, hard plastic that was meant for an outside hose reel. It had snapped in a really weird way and I wasn’t able to order another part. I decided to try this brand to weld it together, and it doesn’t disappoint. It was easy to use and mix together. I smeared some on each piece that needed to be stuck back together. It was dry and together within an hour. I could have used it then, but decided to do another coat around the cracked area where I could still see a bit of the crack. This made sure that a good build was built up. I have a heavy 125’ hose on the reel, and this plastic piece holds one end of the reel by bolt to the frame. It worked no problem and so far has handled it. Very cool you can re-cap the nozzles and re-use this product if you don’t squirt it all out and use it all up. What I Don’t Like - Nothing. Maybe provide more mixing sticks due to the fact this product can be capped and used multiple times if you don’t mix it all! Just make sure you buy some popsicle sticks or something similar to mix it.

Funciona muy bien, he pegado maderas y micarta con metal, con una fijación mecánica también. La preparación de las superficies es importante.
