I bought this last summer on Prime Day on sale for $30. I also bought a $90 speaker from an off brand at the same time that was much bigger. This JBL at 1/3 of the price and 1/4 of the size and outperformed that other speaker in pretty much every way. It is smaller, more portable, cheaper, and has a higher quality build than the off brand. I can listen to either podcasts or music on this speaker and both sound good with a decently high volume. This can't be used as a party speaker or anything where you are really trying to fill a large room with sound, but for working outside nearby, taking a shower, or just hanging out in the living room listening to some music this is a good option. It is water resistant so I can use it in the shower just fine. I've accidentally dropped it from a height of about 4'-5' more than once with no damage or issues, it seems as good as new other than some paint I accidentally got on it once when painting a room. The volume control and play buttons are well marked, easy to access, and easy to use. They give you a nice "click" when you press them for tactile feedback. The power and Bluetooth buttons are also well designed and give similar feedback and you won't likely accidentally press one of them. The biggest cons are that the Bluetooth connection does not show the battery charge level so you just have to use it for a while and charge it when it dies, or whenever you think about it. The battery does last at least one full work day. I can't say for sure exactly how long it lasts since I tend to use it for a few hours at a time rather than all day, but it lasts for at least several days of a few hours at a time with no issues. I would have liked it to display the charge percentage either on the device or on the bluetooth status bar on my phone though. This speaker also doesn't have a lot of bass to it. It has enough for a non-audiophile to enjoy all types of music including rock and metal, but no one would confuse this for something with a subwoofer. It also gets fairly loud for its size, but won't work well for playing music at a house party or backyard party where you want to fill an area with music. Use this more a personal, portable speaker and you should be happy with the purchase. I've had this speaker about 9 months now and would highly recommend it to someone looking for a good quality small Bluetooth Speaker for either music, podcasts, or audiobooks.

This is a very small speaker. It was also low cost so I did not expect much. It linked to an Ipad instantly and without any issues. The sound was amazing for such a small size. It actually had a bit of base and good frequency range. Not much power so don't expect to use it for parties. I am not impressed easily but this little speaker made a great impression. If I have a need for a larger more powerful speaker I will look at other ones in the JBL lineup. I do not give 5 stars often but I did for this product.

Excellent sound for the money. It's a small and unassuming speaker but hits hard with the quality of sound. Works great with my smartphone and Amazon music. I use an equalizer on my phone and it works seamlessly. Very compact and easy to carry. The only complaint I have is that the loop is kinda small but it's manageable. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a budget but brilliant speaker!

This thing look amazing I like the design, its got good grip and it’s kinda soft, it’s very tought for when it’s dropped it want damage at all, pretty hard to destroy. It’s very loud for a small speaker thought the base ain’t too much to get excited over but it’s ok it’s still very very loud. It’s very fast with connectivity, soon as the on button is hit it is connected. I’d say for 45-70 dollars worth of a little speaker like this is worth it. I use it for when I’m having a little party, fishing, relaxing or even just gaming and having family night this is the right speaker! I would like to tell you It plays a cool eco like sound when it’s turned on and off it’s really cool and sounds amazing, I’ve never heard a sound like it. So when you take it out in public or around friends you’re most likely to impress them with it, I’ve been told “woah! Dude that sounds high tech”. It’s such a cool speaker it’s worth the money and by the way no I’m not a bot review I’m a real person and like the speaker as far as going out to right a review, I never right reviews but this was worth it!

A friend used to say that JBL stands for Junky, But Loud. Nothing junky about this speaker. It's solid and has some heft to it. I don't know much about speakers, but I was told years ago that weight relates to the magnets used in the speaker and it's magnets that create the sound. Heavy magnets = better and louder sound. As I said, I don't know much, so take that with a grain of salt. Other than being loud, this speaker is very bassy. It will vibrate items on a table top next to it, and it's not even turned up all the way. Size is just right for fitting in a small bag. The little loop is a nice touch. The on and off notification sounds are nice and simple beeps. This speaker appears to be on sale often. It's definitely a great deal on the sale price, and still worth it at full price.

This speaker is surprisingly loud for how small it is. The sound is also clear and has good bass. The loop on the speaker is great for hanging wherever you want. It also has a rubber base if you just want to set it on a flat surface. The only drawback is the battery life. It lasts about 3 hours, which is really not that bad if you have a charger nearby.

La mini bocina JBL Go es una bocina portátil Bluetooth que ofrece un sonido sorprendentemente potente para su diseño compacto. Honestamente, no he probado su resistencia al agua, pero sí la he utilizado en exteriores, incluso con lluvia, en la playa y junto a la alberca. Su diseño es super resistente y duradero, además de que la bocina es estéticamente atractiva, especialmente la versión beige que yo compré. La batería de la bocina es excelente. Personalmente, no la cargo tan seguido, quizás cada 5 o 6 clases que duran 1 hora cada una, por lo que imagino que la duración ha de ser unas 5-7 horas continuas. Además, como se conecta vía Bluetooth, no hay problema ya que es compatible con todos los celulares e incluso con computadoras. ¡En resumen, si buscas una bocina portátil con un sonido potente, resistente, compacta y bonita, la JBL Go es una excelente opción!
