Not the best tasting. Chocolate is better than vanilla. For anyone having trouble eating, I highly recommend. Nutrition and ingredients are superior to Ensure.

I buy these for my son for extra calories and nutrition because he forgets to eat. He loves the chocolate flavor and stated it taste good. He did not like the vanilla flavor as much.

This is actual Real Nutrition. Va provided this drink to my father after i complained about the terrible ingredients in ensure . Buying this for my mother that doesn't have VA benefits . They now have strawberry . Yummy ., The local hospital’s nutritionist ordered this for my father, at my request , she told me she had been trying to Get it in the Hospital for over a year, but the powers that be would rather continue administering the cheap garbage they give patients . This CAN BE put In a TUBE FEED for an excellent source of Nutrition !

Apparently too much time has gone by for me to report this problem through the normal channels, so I seem to have no other way to report this. My wife has been using both the 1.0 and 1.4 Kate Farms chocolate nutrition shakes for about two years, and we've never had a problem until the latest order. I just opened what should be a box of 12 bottles, and this one contains only 11. Also two of the bottles are turned 90 degrees from their normal orientation (which isn't a problem by itself, but indicates that something went awry with the packing process. I hope that Kate Farms takes note of this review and issues a credit to my account for the missing item. Other than that, it's a great product.

I purchased the Standard, 455 calories, 12 pack. I made sure it was cold, shook very well, and poured it in a tall glass with ice. The taste was not good and a very strange tasting chocolate. After drinking, I brushed my teeth again as I did not have a good taste in my mouth. I really thought I would like it but now I am stuck with 11 containers which I will eventually drink. I usually buy OWYN which I have on order and I thought I would try KateFarms as an alternative and because I wanted to gain a little more weight. I've tried Ensure and Perfect Protein which I find too sweet. So now I wait for OWYN to arrive.

When a person has something like cancer and needs to gain weight, everyone suggests Boost and Ensure. Has anyone actually read the ingredients? Nothing healthy in either of those. They contain glucose syrup, sucrose (way too much sugar), canola oil, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, cellulose gel, cellulose gum, carrageenan... Kate Farms contains none of that, and the big bonus is that it is certified organic. Don't listen to the hype. Read the ingredients for yourself. They even offer feeding tube versions. The chocolate one is most excellent. Stay healthy!

The advantages of this product are its high calorie count for those of us who want to gain weight. The sugar content isn't bad, it does not contain carageenan; a big plus. And it's chocolate. But the flavor is strange. To me, it tastes like uncooked frozen peas, covered in imitation chocolate, with a coating of dust and a liberal drizzle of browned butter. I'm going to try adding cocoa powder. I hope that will help because I'd like to order it again.

The product is great but I was ripped off. I was quoted a subscription price of $64.00 for the monthly amount I ordered and Amazon charged me $85.00!
