I am completely satisfied with the Kohler 4636-RL-0 Cachet Readylatch Elongated Toilet Seat. This is a review for the KOHLER 4636-RL-0 Cachet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat. The Good: Everything. The Bad: The instructions. The Ugly: Seriously, the instructions. The Kohler ReadyLatch toilet seat is a really nice piece of work. It features a slow, soft-closing lid and seat as well. The material is plastic, but it has a good thickness and feels very firm under me when I sit down. I'm 6'2" and 280lbs currently, and there's not even any flex from the seat as I sit down. *Very* sturdy, indeed. The color is a basic white, just like the porcelain on most toilets, so it matches just fine. I have to give props to their packaging. Before you even open the package, it shows you the measurements and warns you to double check and make sure it'll fit on your toilet (and that you didn't order the wrong shape for your toilet!). That being said, the only downside was the instructions - there really wasn't much of any. I've taken off and put on a lot of toilet seats in my time, and they're all pretty straight forward - pop the tab on the top, grab the nut on the underside, use a screw driver to unscrew the plastic bolt from the nut, repeat on the other side, and job's halfway done. Reverse it to install. No problem, right? Wrong! This Kohler had a rubber encased wing nut with a tube that flared out at the end into a flat donut. What...the...okay! Let's check instructions...uhhh...nope...okay, *sigh* let's ask the Internet. Bingo. After hunting around the first couple search results, I found a gentleman installing one - on YouTube. I had to sit through five minutes of someone talking about their toilet and the seat, how their seat had a crack in it, etc etc etc, until suddenly he shows me the secret! FOLD THE WINGNUT SIDEWAYS AGAINST THE TUBE, SLIP IT DOWN THROUGH THE BOLT HOLE ON THE TOILET!!! After that, the install was very simple and straight forward. Position the toilet seat over the two bolt holes (now with a rubber tube installed and a wing nut hanging down on the other side) and install the two bolts that come with the lid. Final Thoughts: I've been using it now for a bit, and I have to say - it's different from my other lids, but I really like the design, fit and the angle of it. It's comfortable, but not "sit on the pot and watch funny cat videos" comfortable. Overall, I'd say it's competitively priced, and well worth the money.

I recently installed the "Catchet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat" and it was a surprisingly straight forward process. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The box even came with a handy ruler on the side to ensure the seat fits your toilet. There was a “STOP before opening box” warning, likely to ensure smooth returns if the seat didn’t fit. The entire process took me only 20 minutes, and this was my first time installing a toilet seat. I didn’t even use single swear word the entire time! Minor issues included a tight fit with my bulky screwdriver and some resistance with the “ReadyLatch” system on the first removal. However, with my second attempt it became much smoother and quicker. Also, adjustments of the “ReadyLatch” seat mounts confused me at first but once I understood how to adjust them the seat fits perfectly. The metal bolts and foldable anchors are a nice touch, much better than plastic ones from my old toilet set. Tightening the new bolts down was very easy. Pros: • Hinges and "Quiet-Close Lid" are well-built and the gentle closure is impressively slow and gentle. Hope it lasts. • Contoured seat is very comfortable, especially for someone with IBD, I would say the best I have ever sat on. • “ReadyLatch” system offers great utility for easy cleaning. • The price is spot on for the quality, I saved CAD $30 even after shipping and import fees using Amazon.com instead of Amazon.ca. Cons: • Adjusting the “ReadyLatch” seat mounts was a bit fiddly, but manageable. Overall, I am beyond pleased with my purchase. Easy to install and extremely comfortable. 9/10.

Elongated, slow-close, easy clean Tolley seat. Does not come with installation instructions or parts list in the box, but Amazon has a video in the description photos. Relatively easy to install. Removal for cleaning is simple even though it requires a very sturdy pull upward (and a piece underneath the lid hinge can pop off but easily put back in place). Lid closes very slowly and quietly. Overall, would recommend this toilet seat. (Didn't give 5 stars because of the lack of written instructions/ parts list and because of force required to remove for cleaning.)

Purchased the kohler 4636 RL0 toilet seat Today and received it today !!! Such a bonus!! as I did not want to travel to Home Depot which I can’t stand going to,you can walk around for hours before you find a floor person and when you do they are not knowledgeable even when asking a simple question . I absolutely love this toilet seat photo does not do it justice, the material is so much better-quality solid material not like the Mayfair’s cheap plastic one I had, the hardest part was taking my old toilet seat off which I had to soak the screws with bolt spray for over a week to get it off I finally got the old one off today and placed order for the kohler chachet today Installation was less then 10 minutes Looks very nice high quality material, solid, thick Nothing flimsy about it ,this purchase absolutely made my day take way from this purchase today Was delivered same day , price was less than Home Depot, quality product, durable material better than plastic, easy install, seat is comfortable,

Perfect colour and size match, easy to install, seat is good and sturdy (doesn’t move much). Would buy again.

Buscaba una opción de cierre lento, de buena calidad para WC circular, por algún motivo ni en el Home Depot, ni en tiendas dedicadas a baños la tiene en la actualidad , parece que la marca Bemis ya no la maneja, solo tiene manejan sin cierre lento, así es que tuve que recurrir a Amazon y este modelo, marca y tipo, resultó funcionar bastante bien y con muy fácil instalación. La recomiendo y espero que dure bastante.
