I had two Hue bulbs fail in the last week. They are insanely expensive so I went in this direction. I’m already a TP-Link/Kasa device owner and love them. Sockets, switches, cameras and sensors all work great. These connect easily with the Tapo app. Great range of brightness and color range. Hoping these last a while. The price was excellent and all my other TP/Kasa products are sturdy and reliable. This is a very affordable option if you want LED lights with color options and remote control. Give them a try.

These bulbs have exceeded my expectations. They are designed and made well. The app is easy to use and these bulbs have held up well. We have one in the front and back of the house and change the colors depending on ti.e of year and Hollidays. Inside we use them in various rooms and they work seamlessly with our Alexa to turn on and off and change color and brightness. For the money it's a great value.

I've purchased a lot of Kasa/TP-Link items since I bought my first Alexa. This has become my preferred brand because the Kasa app works seamlessly with Alexa and the products are well-designed and reliable. I have one of these in my outside porch light and one in my dining room, and both are working well. I haven't played much with the colors but I like the warm white I'm using in both bulbs.

Really easy to install. Setting up a schedule was equally as easy. What I liked the most is that you can choose your "whiteness" from 6500k to 2500k AND you can change your brightness too. I'm not really into the colors but it is great that you have the option, and you can adjust the brightness for those as well. If you are thinking about making your house "smart" these are much less expensive and much easier than installing switches. Highly recommend.

These are a game changer as they work with my Smart Things at the house which is also compatible with Samsung appliances. This also works with Alexa so I've only been turning on/off my lights with my voice. She can also change the colors, but I mostly like the whites and the varied lumens/dimming. She can also adjust that. In the kasa app they have a schedule you can set, so I've been playing around with having my lights on at sunset til 10 PM, which seems to work conveniently. Only con was one of the bulbs had a very hard time connecting so I had to swap it and will try again with a different light. So far I have 2:4 up and running. Recommended!

These connect much better and quicker than our previous ones, and they disconnect a lot less frequently. Overall a good value, bulbs could be brighter though. These are definitely just ambient light, not something you'd do any work by. The colour variations are good, app is easy to use, they work well with alexa. They do randomly disconnect, which is frustrating, but definitely not as much as other brands we've tried.
