I bought these to help setup a greenhouse or sorts in a room in the house to help manage the lights and fan and these have been perfect. All my succulents and cacti and orchids are exploding and flowering. It's been a really easy way to manage everything so now I can go on vacation and not worry about it. They turn on for 12 hours and then turn off. Compatibility with Android has been easy. Pairing was quick. Following the step by step process in the app was simple and worked every time. Occasionally I do turn them off before the timer is up, and I can do it from anywhere in the house. The quality of the product is right where you would want it. Easy and simple, nothing to break. The manual on/off is a nice fat square button on the side to it. There's a blue/orange light on the side to help you determine if it's on or off, but then the light turns off so it won't disturb your sleep if it's in your bedroom. Manually turning these on/off either by the app or actually manually pressing them is quick and responsive. I've had a few occasions where they've done some funny things like not turn on when the timer said it was supposed to, but I chalk that up to up Internet and wifi setup being unreliable at times. I've purchased these plugs multiple times now as I've used them up and added more items to the growing network of houseplants and even though they're no longer in the same room, they all go in sync. I always know when it's 9am or 9pm because lights turn off on their own. It's perfect!

Very EZ to setup and use. App is nice and simple. You can set timers, schedules and use it manually. I ordered a set of 4 Last Christmas for my trees and indoor lights, and this year I ordered another set of 4 to use with my out door lights and they worked great out side but I did cover them. Dean

We have 12 trees for Christmas and lights too. For less than the price of mechanical timers I now control them from my phone! How did I live 50 years without smart outlets. Set up was easy. When the choose a network prompt came up after 30 seconds another screen popped up saying rescan or join hidden network. Selecting rescan brought up my network. The widget does not seem to work on Android but works great on iOS. The app runs flawlessly on both.

Update 12/8/24: After adding a different TP-Link device to the Kasa app, go to the Me menu, then 3rd party, then Alexa. UNLINK Kasa from Alexa, then go back and LINK to Alexa again. Voice control of the new device now works. I looked again, and this is not in the setup instructions. Incidentally, if you change a device name, you need to unlink and link Kasa again also. Second qualifier: These HS103 plugs use a different configure/reconfigure procedure from other TP-Link devices, like the EP25 plugs which look identical but are not. These work. Easy to configure with the phone app, and easy to reconfigure when your network changes. I've gone through an entire Wi-Fi redo, so I can attest to the east of reconfiguring! They work with Alexa just fine, as well as with the app that provides on/off for each plus the ability to schedule several on/off sequences, selectable by day or every day.

He pedido ya varias veces smart plugs y siempre viene uno defectuoso. Estos funcionaron bien los 4 y se ve que son de buena calidad. Lo que si he descubierto es que con los cambios de voltaje que a veces sufrimos se nos han descompuesto otros que hemos comprado así que estos los puse todos en lugares donde ya hay un protector de picos. Los use para programar las luces de navidad, otro para encender lámparas con focos grow light que uso para mis plantas y hasta ahorita no he tenido ningún problema. Lo único es que si me tarde en configurarlos, ya había hecho esto antes pero con estos necesitas usas su aplicación especial y luego me di cuenta que estaba seleccionando mal el tipo de contacto por que me fui por la imagen.

I have 3 of these and an outdoor plug of the same brand which run all my Christmas lights this year it has made life so much easier compared to the old dial timers and switches The kasa app syncs easily with other home products my smart things control built in to my Samsung was just a matter of signing in and giving permissions to kasa with the Android Auto in the car I can check on the status override a scheduled on or off all while on the go also paird very well with my google home system making voice commands from any room easy to accomplish I will be adding more and more kasa products to my smart home upgrades, for a few simple reasons ease of use, functionality, and user friendly interface on the app and shear quality have earned a 10/10 from me **The picture included is only the outside plug all the rest were added to Indoor lights I.E. the tree and other windows in the front**

Very good value! Easy set up, kind of annoying to initially download/set up the KASA app so you can get it connected to Alexa, but it’s straightforward. Works perfectly, connects easily, no complaints!
